Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs

Absolutely terrible service, asked for sub sauce and got an attitude about having to pay for it I’ve never in 15 years of buying pizza from hungry howies EVER been charged for sub sauce I called in the store to asked them to add the sauce and explained I’ve never been charged for it and the lady on the phone got an attitude right off rip and the driver then expressed that when they hung up the phone they started screaming and hollering and freaking out on him over all of it when I was even willing to pay for it they through in 2 tiny packs for my entire pizza. I will never order here again.

Hungry Howie's should have to obey by their coupons that they put out for customers when I sit there and call because I want to place an order and they're going to tell me they can't or they won't oblige the coupon that's ridiculous

Pizza was cold, I was told I would get a credit… for my delivery and I paid delivery fee and only thing they wanted to do was give me a pizza… so basically I still lost money!!! They will no longer get my money Marco’s would have Never!!!!!!!! Your employee name David failed to satisfy the customer!!!!!!

I love this place my only problem is the staff most times there ok but every so often you get one of their extreme assholes that will hang up the phone on you when you call...just saying...

I ordered Howie bread and it comes with one sauce of Mariana sauce and I paid extra for additional one for it to taste horrible like it was out of date or expired. Tasted so disgusting they need To start checking their food before selling it to people

Ever since 2020 COVID the service industry has gone downhill tremendously! This location has never been good for me. Food is always good but the service just sucks. Don’t understand how a store doesn’t accept a gift card but other locations do.. doesn’t make sense AT ALL! No attempt to give a couple min out of their day to see if it can be done, which I know it can. They just tell me I have to order it online to use it. Tried that and online only accepts coupons which is NOT a gift card. Plus do not order online! Another thing that doesn’t make sense is that online it cost $10 more to get the same exact thing you can order in store. I didnt order delivery online I would have ordered for pick up but I didn’t because again it would have been $19 rather than $9.62

There is always one girl at the counter who cashes you out and answers the phone and she's always so rude and miserable always when you walk up to the counter and ask Hi how are you she doesn't say anything she just looks at you you get for the money and you thank her she doesn't say anything back to you she is rude every single time I go to pick it up I go have my husband pick it up from now on cuz I'm just not going to deal with her if you go to the Sanford location you'll know exactly who I'm talking about if you walk in there I reached out to hungry Howie's several times and I've had no response whatsoever the only reason I ordered is cuz my husband loves the pizza so much and it's pretty inexpensive other than that I would never ever ever ever go there

Went into the Sanford location this evening and the lady that was taking the food out of the oven, skinny white lady without teeth, was constantly eating while taking customers food out of the oven to box it up. My husband and I have very many years of food service and that is one thing you do not do. It is very insanity and causes cross contamination. Asked for the manager and he came across as a very unprofessional manager. We let him know what the problem was and didn't seem like he cared. He did remake our pizza and then cut it and boxed it himself, but when he handed it to me, he had his back turned to me the whole time. If I could give the service and atmosphere zero stars I would. The only reason they have a 2 star review is because the pizza is fresh.
