The server was very nice, delicious food, and all around a delightful experience. I had the spicy miso ramen and spicy tuna roll. I would 100% recommend and will definitely be coming back for some more!

Found this place after reading some prior reviews and they did not disappoint. I went during Happy Hour which was between 5pm-7pm. I had the California roll, Shrimp Tempura roll and Gyoza. Everything was delicious and the food was fresh. The service was good and for the price you couldn't beat it. Love the charm of this place I will definitely be back.

Judge a book by its cover! I strongly discourage anyone, especially those with disabilities, from dining at Jimotti’s in Sanford. My experience here was not only disappointing but blatantly discriminatory. The restaurant outright refused to honor their advertised happy hour prices, making it clear that they would not extend the same pricing to all customers- per the owner! To make matters worse, the building itself is in a severely uninhabitable and unsafe condition—poorly maintained and completely lacking in ADA-compliant wheelchair accessibility. It’s unacceptable for any establishment to treat patrons this way, and I hope they address these serious issues immediately. Until then, I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere to a place that values and respects ALL customers!! And if you’re in need of a restroom, be warned—you won’t find one here unless you’re fully able-bodied.
I reallllllly had high hopes for this place, ordered door dash because it was most recommended. Got my food and literally it was a small bag of noodles broth and someone threw corn and green onions in there and 3 very small slices of pork. For $19 I thought maybe it would somewhat be like the description given for the item. :((( very sad. Broth was good but it woulda been nice if the egg and other veggies and such were actually included in my order.
Tonkotsu ramen came without onion or mushroom and the broth tasted a little bland. The spider roll came without eel sauce on top so it was a bit dry. The takoyaki was so soft it couldn't easily be picked up with chopsticks. She said that's how they do it there... Idk. Prices were average, food was average. Nice staff though.

Don’t judge a book by its cover with this one. We showed up at 8pm on a Saturday night and the place was dead. Definitely not the Greatest location but the food was . Great quality Japanese food at affordable prices. Some of the best quality fresh real sushi and sashimi that I have had in a long time. We enjoyed the dumplings, sweet potato tempura, my daughter had the tonkotsu ramen and it was a hit for her. Wife and son split the grill chicken fried rice and they enjoyed.

If you've driven by this place but not stopped in because of the outside appearance do yourself a favor and stop. I drove by for a year before finally stopping. They have amazing Ramen, far superior to that unfriendly place at Henry's depot. The staff has been super friendly and helpful every time. They have quickly became one of our favorites in the area. My fav is the DanDan and the tonkatsu.

If you’re looking to try, Jimotti’s is your place to go! We had the Dan Dan and spicy chicken. Of you can handle the heat then the Dan Dan will be a treat! I, however had them put the chilli sauce on the side and used small amounts. We were very pleased with the service and food.

It is always nice to try a Japanese restaurant that is Japanese owned. However, I was sadly disappointed by their offerings. The yakinuku/yakitori skewers & fantastic service is hands down excellent!! Their tonkotsu ramen was quite underwhelming, especially if you have tried Domu or Jinya. The broth & noodles honestly tasted like a doctored up instant ramen packet that I could have added by own pizzaz at home. But hey, you won't know till you try it. I did not try their sushi, so I really cannot speak for that. Overall, I would return for their meat skewers alone as those were nicely done!
