Today, was my first visit to Lee's in Sanford. I ordered the chicken sandwich combo. It was so salty that I could not eat it. I am a stickler for not wasting food but in this instance, I had to make an exception.
The environment of the establishment was grotty. It is in dire need of an update and good cleaning.
I did enjoy the potato wedges. They were hot, crunchy, and seasoned well.

Lees has been a staple in Sanford for years. It has sentimental value to me. But the food quality is not the same. There was so much salt in our food. It's like salt is the primary or only ingredient. So salty I couldn't eat at all. If you have high blood pressure stay away ?

Not only is the food amazing, but the staff (Christa) really elevates the whole experience. Affordable meals with generous portions. Speedy service and a clean dining area. Don't pass this place up.

I wasn’t please at all went in there yesterday to order some gizzard and they gave me some old gizzard that wasn’t fresh at all I want some fresh ones and the manager told me it would be 35 minutes so I said okay I wait and then another manager said I would have to order a large order to get some fresh gizzards I said I don’t want no large I want small any how they should be cook to order very unsatisfactory to me very upset about it

I have t been in a few months so I’m not sure if it was a mistake but the portion sizes were ridiculous. The tenders were half the size they normally are, they were slightly larger than a chicken nugget. They only gave me literally 5 fries for the side. Chicken legs and biscuits were ok but tenders and fries portions were embarrassing the tenders were also overcooked.
Not sure if I’ll be back. What a shame I went to this place for years.

People here have attitudes I asked for a drink of water so I could take my pill and she said it would be 36 cents I bought chicken livers and they smashed them all down into the cup. Would never go again.
