Absolutely loved dinner here tonight. Celebrated our 18th anniversary. Staff was busy but did a wonderful job making sure everyone was taking care of. The food was amazing. Steak perfectly cooked, drinks were perfect. View of the water. What more could you really ask for. Steak seafood this is the place!!!HATS OFF TO ENTIRE STAFF. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Haven't been here in a few years and I must say since they updated it's been a great experience. The service was wonderful, And if you like seafood with a bayou flavor this is the place. We enjoyed the gator bites and the boom boom shrimp. I also had the catfish with etofee, which was outstanding. Highly recommend!

My Fat Boy buddies were remembering Randy "Mellow Yellow" whom we lost to cancer. The atmosphere was nice and we had an awesome server, who unfortunately had to hear our complaints about the over cooked, dried out Mahi Mahi that came with our three orders of the Fisherman's Platter. The scallops were small but very flavorful. I was taken back by having to request bread for the table, actually two orders because one order was three finger sized sticks. The Mahi Mahi was the largest portion I've ever seen...it was reluctantly left on all three plates.On my first visit, the expectations were very high. We should have rejected the plate as the Mahi Mahi is the centerpiece of the plate, but we were more concerned about the eventual cold ride on the Harleys. At least the scallops were good.My son is a chef who commands comparable pricing however, three bad plates at one table is unheard of.

First off I want to say that the staff was really friendly, the restaurant was really nice and the views are great.However, I mainly went because I was hungry and wanted seafood. The food was really hit-or-miss. All of the vegetables were great, bordering on spectacular. The gumbo had amazing spices and flavor, but smelled and tasted really fishy. The ahi tuna was ok (but not great), but overcooked (even though I asked for it cooked as little as possible, and was assured that they don't cook it much). There was a mixed platter of fried seafood that had ok catfish, but the other things on it were mediocre at best. The Hush Puppies were definitely way below average. My wife had grouper, which didn't smell good and was inedible. She had two bites and we traded plates (she's extremely sensitive to fishy-tasting seafood and smells, but I'm usually fine). I had a couple more bites and just couldn't do it. They refunded us $10, but it was a $30 dish. It was really thin, overcooked, and my wife was suspicious it wasn't even grouper.I would recommend that you go there for the views and service, and order steaks (which I assume are a lot better).

I went here years ago and it seemed old fashioned..NOW it's really nice..Lake Monroe is your view ..service was really attentive and food was yummmmmWill definitely recommend...Sanford how it should be...
I visited with a large party and we were well taken care of. At one point, it seemed as though everyone on staff had visited our table to check on us or run items. Truly excellent service! Aside from the amazing staff, the food was superb. We ordered a plethora of items and EVERY single dish delivered excellent flavor and preparation. I 10/10 recommend.Special thanks to our server, Crystal and the manger, Sarah, who made sure we were comfortable and wanted for nothing.
