Sweet & Salty Island Grindz Reviews
Went in for the first time this evening and the huli huli chicken is fantastic!!! A great meal and fantastic service! Instant fan this evening.
Drove 40 minutes to get a sandwich here. The first time I checked and it said they were open on the internet, got there at 11:45 and they said they were closed. The second time I drove there, another 40 minute drive, the guy at the counter took the order of the person in front of me and when it was my turn he told me they were closed for 45 minutes. This was at 1:30 pm. What a joke. I’ll not be going a third time.
I just ate the best Chicken sandwich in the world. This place is amazing. Portions are big and the food is fresh. We will most definitely be back. Thank you for a great meal. Keep killin it in Sanford

Sweet & Salty Island Grindz is a highly praised Hawaiian restaurant that offers an authentic and delightful dining experience. The chicken Katsu, a popular dish, is described as moist, flavorful, and absolutely amazing. The sides, such as the macaroni salad, are also fantastic. The staff and owner demonstrate great hospitality and engagement with customers, contributing to the overall positive experience. While the food is made to order, which may result in a wait time, the quality and taste of the dishes make it well worth the visit. This establishment has gained significant attention on social media, and those who haven't tried it are highly recommended to do so.
Customers praise the fresh and flavorful Huli Huli chicken, as well as the friendly and welcoming staff. The location inside Henry's Depot provides ample parking, making the overall experience easy and enjoyable. One reviewer mentions the close proximity to the food hall can leave you smelling like the delicious aromas. Another customer, a former Hawaii resident, was pleased to find the mac salad closely resembling the authentic version. The chicken sandwich also receives high praise, with a large portion, the right amount of breading and flavoring, and the perfect level of heat.
