What a pleasurable experience! First as smoker I appreciate the fact that you are allowed to smoke on the outside. I had the shrimp and grits it was AMAZING. You had choice of sides but very limited and nothing that really went with the shrimp and grits so I got fries. The wait staff was really nice. I would totally return again. Oh and they have proper pint size glasses unlike “The Station”Kid-friendliness: I see kids here but no kid menu that I could tellWheelchair accessibility: Level with sidewalk

I’d leave a good review because our food was good…IF it didn’t give both me and my boyfriend food poisoning. The Breezeway seriously need to emphasize with staff the importance of hand hygiene based on other reviews on here talking about food poisoning. Our food was cooked but obviously it wasn’t clean. Most likely will not be returning… great ending to our spring break.

If you haven’t been to The Breezeway don’t walk Run!! The Food is incredible, The Service is Amazing and The Outside Patio makes for the Perfect Atmosphere. Our Server Julie was the Best definitely ask for her!!!!

It’s no secret that The Breezeway is our favorite. The ambiance is the best in Sanford. The menu is satisfying for all of my moods! Louis slings some amazing drinks, and is always coming up with fun concoctions when I just don’t know what I want.Try the fish dip for an appetizer! Their ribeye is killer!!! All their sandwiches and salads are the bomb. But beware, one mimosa turns into six real quick, because you won’t want to leave if it’s a beautiful day outside!

Used to love breezway when we first moved to Sanford years ago. We started going here again just recently on Halloween for the first time in years and loved the food, live music, and prices... however! Just went again last weekend and my husband and mother in law got sick off the Philly Cheesesteak. The waitress gave us the wrong drink and still charged us for it. All other places would have just apologized and removed it no problem, we had to ask and she had to talk to the manager. The bill for a family of 5 came out to nearly $200!! Something was off, so I had to calculate it like 5 times. My kids' "$4 salad" turned into a $12 salad because they threw a piece of chicken on it. My son's chicken tenders turned into a $18 meal because they added 2 more pieces. The math did not math at all! And instead of alerting us of the extra charges AS WE WERE ORDERING, nope! Just shocked when we got the bill. For okay food, they have gotten overpriced!
