We have enjoyed visiting Chef Michael and crew for 6+ years! The French onion soup is to die for!!! But…all of his soups are incredible! Highly recommend he and his crew cater your next big event!!! He will provide a menu of your liking. His menu repertoire is out of this world!
Wife arranged a private dinner for my birthday at the Corner Café, my favorite place in Central FL after being here for nearly 6 yrs now. It’s a set menu for a set amount of folks, so the family in town and other friends enjoyed the French Onion soup (fabulous-bestinclass-wonderful, as always), half-sammies, desert cups, reasonable selection of drinks, etc; basically all that is great by Chef Michael. He was personable, as always, and the food was incredible, as always. He’s gone to a catering and private dinner model now and often has monthly dinners in the Sanford location. Check him out on Facebook: “The Corner Café – Home of Gourmet2Go”
This is a little corner Café. Rather a tourist trap in my opinion it took forever for them to take our order. I had a hamburger which was like $15 but I was very small and not that good. My wife had spanakopita and it was decent again trying to get our check took forever.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time here. Great food and great service. French onion soup with a bread bowl was the best part of our meal. The head chef was kind, friendly, and the food came out quickly.

Wonderful lunch during the arts festival. All the staff are clearly seasoned, professional, and care about excellent food. The service was kind and light hearted. Wish they’d open more- but we were grateful to try today!

One time I went and the tables had tablecloths and decorations in the center, it looked super cute.
But this time I went and the tables were without tablecloths, with nothing like a regular cafeteria.
I hope they decorate the pretty tables again every day, that helps the place look cozy and beautiful.
