I wanted to try The Current in order to try the fish and chips. On my first visit they ran out right before I was able to order. However I noticed that the person handing out orders accidently gave the last fish and chips order to the wrong person and once he realized he took the order back and tried giving it to the correct person. Since I didn't get to try the fish and chips on my first visit I decided to try the fried shrimp and garlic fries instead. Overall I thought the shrimp were pretty good but I thought that the fries needed some seasoning.

On my second visit I was able to finally try the fish and chips but i then discovered in addition to the $18 for the meal they charge an additional amount for togo orders for a total of $20 and some change! When it comes to the fish and chips I thought the fries were pretty good but I thought the fish needed seasoning. The pieces of fish were a nice size but overall I don't feel as though what I received justified the price.

Got my 1st sub par meal from Current today. Got the fried scallops to go and they were undercooked. The batter fell off the scallops!

Pretty decent warm lobster roll overall, could use a bit more butter poured over the top, but it's true to the real deal! Clam strips are a thinner type but have good flavor, and the scallops are good quality bay scallops!

Food is good, a little pricey for portion sizes. This so called restaurant is inside hallway of multiple other food counters and crowded. Loud multiple music playing above smaller tables mixed in with other food alternatives.

Would definitely suggest trying the shrimp teriyaki burger, it's huge. Fish and chips were also awesome as well.

The fried catfish basket at The Current was hot, fresh, and delicious with a light, thin batter. The Old Bay seasoned fries were great, and the hushpuppies had more of a corn fritter taste, which wasn't expected but not bad. The hushpuppies were fried, which gave it a tad bit of a crisp, but I do believe they could have been fried just a tad bit longer. Prices are a bit on the high side, but that’s expected with the indoor food truck vibe and the going rate of eating out. Five star - Beatrice made the experience even better—she’s personable and gave a fantastic first impression! GREAT customer service! The dining hall setup was a little tricky to figure out if you’re not familiar with it, but overall, it's a great spot for a tasty meal.

My family and I went to another restaurant in this food hall to try a sandwich we heard about on TikTok. Thankfully my mom is not a fan of chicken so she ordered the Shrimp Teriakyi Burger from The Current Seafood counter. The shrimp burger totally kicked that chicken sandwiches ass, respectfully. This was one of the BEST sandwiches I've ever had!!!!

Sorry, by the time I thought to do this review, my sandwich was half eaten! It was soooooo good!! Shout out to Clyde! He has officially made the best Blackened Fish Sandwich I’ve ever had. I’ll be back for the rest of the menu. LOL!

Don’t go here for your lobster roll fix, super overpriced (barely any lobster) and BLAND. How do you make a lobster roll bland? Crazy.

For $29 the lobster should be busting out of the bread.

Food is good per usual but I got 6 small hush puppies ! Not even the size of a meatball for 7 bucks like you telling me that you can’t give at least 7 ?? You are charging 1.16 per hush puppy ?? That’s insane !!!!!

Just flew in from Massachusetts
Flight delayed so was worried i wasn’t gonna make it. We arrived 10min to 8 and she was cleaning to close. Told her how badly i wanted a lobster roll- she said don’t worry I’ll make it for you! We ordered 3 and I’m so happy!!!!! This is why we come here - the service is the absolute best
