Throwbacks Sanford offers a mixed experience. The bartender redeemed the visit with personalized mocktails and good pizza. The weekend crowd might be too loud for some. The cocktails are reasonably priced and well-made, providing a good start to a night out. The place could use better ventilation to combat some unpleasant smells, and a few of the games weren't working properly. While the greasy pizza and sticky tables were a downside, the arcade games, especially the Mario Kart setup, were a hit. The touch screen table-top gaming system with a ton of different games loaded is a must stop if in Sanford. It's a cool place to hang out with friends or have a date night out. The bartenders are absolutely cool, and the pizza is also really good. Karaoke wise, this is a favorite place. The atmosphere is great, and the pizza was super delicious. Overall, a decent spot for drinks and games, but cleanliness could be improved.
