If you’re looking for a place in Sanford where you can drink like an adult but play video games like you’re 12 again, Throwbacks is your spot. I walked in, saw FREE arcade games, and immediately knew I wasn’t leaving for at least three hours or until someone unplugged the machines.

The drinks? Cheap. Like “did they forget to charge me?” cheap. I had to double-check the receipt to make sure I didn’t accidentally order a kid’s menu lemonade.

I came in earlier today to watch some football and have a few drinks after a rough week. I walk in and there was one bartender behind the bar, I think her name is Angela, idk, but she sucked. I sat there for like 5-10 minutes while she talked to some people about zodiac signs or some shit, then she went to the end of the bar, sat down, and started eating. The other bartender walked out from the back and immediately noticed I didn’t have a drink in front of me. She was very speedy...
