Visit Date: 7/19/25 @ 7 pm Server: Luciano B. aka Luchi This was date night for us and our first time visiting The Yardery. The restaurant is very inviting with the open areas of table seating, ping pong table, corn hole set-ups, a tire swing for all ages and live music. We seated ourselves on the second floor to be able to watch the activities on the ground floor and we had a great view of the lake. Mr. Luchi was our waiter and he was also the bartender for the 2nd floor seating. He did a great job taking care of both and finding the time to talk with his customers. There is a variety of food on the menu. Sides (in house made french fries, street corn etc.) are extra. The appetizers looked scrumptious especially the giant pretzel and the wings. We ordered the smash burger with fresh cut fries and 3 avocado tacos with street corn. Water and a Mango Cart were our chosen drinks. Yes, sweet tea is offered and I will get that the next time I return. ~ Everything we ordered was fresh and served hot. It was amazingly good. A special thank you to Luchi and the school teachers next to us for making dinner out very enjoyable. You will definitely want to bring your entire family for an evening out. Well behaved dogs are allowed and we saw a couple during our visit.

The Yardery in Sanford is such a cool spot! Loved the whole vibe from the moment we walked in. The outdoor seating under the open sky feels amazing – perfect for Florida evenings. Service was super quick, and honestly, the food deserves a 10/10… absolutely delicious!
It’s also a great place for families – kids had a blast on the tyre swing and playing cornhole and table tennis. Plus, it’s pet-friendly, so furry friends are welcome too.
Whether you’re looking to chill with friends, enjoy a family outing, or just grab great food in a fun atmosphere, this place is worth checking out!

We stumbled upon this place by accident, but so glad we did! Todd, our server, was absolutely wonderful. From the moment he came to our table, I knew we would enjoy our experience there. The outdoor setting was fantastic, even with a bit of rain. The sangria was delicious and so were the crab cakes! They also have amazing fries, as they are just potatoes and not frozen nonsense. We don't live in Sanford, but I will be back if we are ever out that way again!
Was in Sanford for a baseball trip. Kids loved it!
