I love tropical smoothies however the services has been going down. The last three visits were horrible and is the same girl she gave me my bowl and went back inside to ask for a spoon and said what? With an attitude and the guy grabbed it and said sorry for her. Second time they forgot the spoons and the straw. Today Saturday I went around 11 and the dude was very polite and did my order in like 2 minutes however when the blender stopped the girl in the back (same one that gave me an attitude the 1st time) asked him for help I think she thought he was doing nothing because she ask him for help with some boxes that did not look heavier but whatever he helped her and saw him putting all the stuff were it’s supposed to go and my snot this was there in the blender now for 10 minutes. I usually don’t say anything but had to speak up and say “hey I’ve been waiting” he apologized and said he forgot I would not have gotten upset but I waited for 10minutes and my smoothie was out. I would stop going to this location but sadly is the closest one home.

When I called this location for help to give a call to the deland location get the name of the manager there so I can reference my promise that I’d get a free Açaíe bowl with Nutella since they made it wrong and it had no Nutella in it. Because when I asked her name she just hung up on me and wouldn’t answer the phone anymore .. anyways this sanford location would not call that location! They kept acting like it was rocket science and making weird reasons they couldn’t like the stores don’t have the same owner (who cares! or “she might not give them her name either” I can’t roll my eyes hard enough. I don’t know what’s wrong these days with this idiots working in customer service but they are doing it all wrong.

⭐☆☆☆☆ — Very bad experience

I went to Tropical Smoothie to order a burrito, and the experience was very disappointing. The employee who helped me was alone and clearly overwhelmed with many orders. Still, he charged me and kept working as best as he could. A few minutes later, another employee came out from the bathroom. Instead of helping, she stayed outside having a long conversation with a friend while the young man continued handling everything by himself.

It wasn’t until he directly asked her for help that she finally stepped in. After that, my burrito was made in a rush and poorly put together. By the time I checked it — already 10 minutes away driving — it wasn’t made the way I ordered it.

The service was very poor, and the atmosphere felt disorganized and unprofessional. I really hope they improve their staff and customer service, because this kind of experience doesn’t make you want to come back.

Called to say they did not include an item in my order and instead of trying to help they blamed it on the driver. When asked for the manager, the employees didn’t seem to know who it was and did not try to help at all with the situation. I asked for confirmation of the video because they kept blaming the driver but they refused to help or solve the problem. Very incompetent staff and not at all caring about the customers.

Every Friday I do daddy and daughter/son date day here they love it.

Michael and Milly were so welcoming! Delivering our food with a smile to receiving us with much respect! Need more people like them !

This smoothie shop is my go-to for post-workout refreshment. The flavors are fresh, and the service is quick. Seating is limited, so it’s more of a grab-and-go spot, but the smoothies are worth it.

Friendly staff. Food is good but there are better options. Smoothie was good
