We ordered the beef bulgogi with rice and beef kimbap. It was really good and the portion size with very generous. It's very down to earth and the owner incredibly firendly.

I'll have leftovers from this portion of bbq chicken bulgogi. The kimchi is handmade deliciousness and getting seaweed to wrap my bites was the best addition. Next time I'm going for the kimbap and mandu for sure!

I felt like home the second I walked in the door. I’m not knowledgeable at all on Korean cuisine but Miss Kay walked us through the menu. The kimchi is to die for! If you’re a local to Sanford you have to stop in.

Who would have thought you could get this quality of fresh Korean food in Sanford?! Delicious fresh bulgogi and kimchi, and the two ladies running the joint/working there were so sweet. Come get some flavor!

A hidden gem in Sanford!! The food is delicious and the owner Mrs. Kay is a sweetheart! I got the beef bulgogi meal and it comes with homemade kimchi which was packed full of flavor! Definitely recommend everyone to stop by!!

Very authentic and delicious Korean food served here. Korean Mama is definitely making the napa kimchi and radish kimchi herself (tastes like my mom's kimchi). Beef bulgogi and spicy pork bulgogi are both top notch. Kimbap dishes were good but I suspect they were frozen before (seaweed wrapping shrunk). Nevertheless, Mama's Kitchen did not disappoint with their taste. Sorry for no photos; I couldn't wait to dig in.

We’ve been looking for an authentic Korean place near the Villages for a while. Found this hidden gem while in the area. Don’t let the outside appearance discourage you! Cooked fresh while you wait, and more than ample portions for the price. Owner/chef is the real deal. We will be back!!

Wife and I stopped here looking for Korean food and found a gold mine. Mrs. Kay is very friendly and kind and cooks delicious food. We had the beef bulgolgi, chicken wings with fries and the dumplings. Every thing was really good and we will definitely be back

Great stop for Korean food in a market in Sanford. No place to eat take out only so if your not prepared you eat in you vehicle or at a nearby park which I recommend. Her Kim Chee is excellent and different from others I’ve had. I got a Chicken Bulgogi bowl. $19 is a bit over priced in my opinion. I lived in Hawaii for 25+ years and have been to South Korea. In this area I won’t complain because most Asian food in Fla outside of the “Asian Areas” in Orlando there’s nothing.

I ordered the Beef Bulgogi with rice, beef kimbap, and pork mandu and they were all delicious! I lived in South Korea for a while so I very much appreciated having this very authentic Korean food. Even the complementary pickled radish and kimchi was tasty! And the owner/chef is so very sweet and accommodating. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Sanford!

Best lunch spot in Sanford hands down

Passed by this place a ton and finally gave it a shot. The staff was friendly and i meet the owner miss K she was a great host! I got a Sub beef and cheese with fries, shrimp fried rice, and beef bulgogi. All I can say is wow, im kicking myself for not trying this place sooner
Its also a small market and there a bunch of drinks and snacks. 10/10 I'll be comming back again.
