Favorite place to eat on sanibel island. Anthony was our waiter. He was the best. Food was all fresh made. Milkshakes, ice cream, hand cut fries, amazing hamburgers. Retro atmosphere.

What a fun burger place! A great atmosphere is well decorated with a fun staff! The burgers and food was amazing!

Definitely one of our favorite restaurants on the island and we look forward to eating here Every year when we come down for vacation. The foods amazing and it’s a great atmosphere! The only negative is that they’ve now instituted a strict “no adults can order a kids meal” policy which is a let down because a lot of times people want to stop in and eat but not order (and pay for) an adult, full size meal so unless that changes, we’ll have to factor that in to our lunch/dinner location choices. 😊🍔

Best burgers and best shakes around!

Excited to visit on 12/17, first time eating here since hurricane Ian and it was GREAT! Service was great, food was great! Our waiter was friendly and attentive making sure our order was great. If you want a great cheeseburger get to Cheeburger Cheeburger, you won't be disappointed.

No longer just a burger palace, they have chicken dishes, salads, tacos, delicious apps, hand cut fries and of course their legendary shakes. Their grilled grouper sandwich was outstanding with remoulade sauce. Full bar happy hour specials too!

Sadly, after being a customer of Cheeburger for close to 40 years, I’m afraid they’ve lost their appeal. Our burgers were horrible. Terribly overcooked, and had a peculiar taste. My kids wouldn’t even eat theirs, and we had to switch them out for basic chicken tenders.
The server, who very rarely visited our table, forgot to put it our fries and onion rings in with our order, so we were almost done eating when they finally came out. The onion rings used to be thin and crispy, more of a loaf style. They are basic, round, too much breading, and undercooked so the cornmeal was actually pure powder, gross. We had to ask 3 times for soda refills, and finally got them after 20 minutes or so.
Luckily at the end of our meal, Pam took over for our server, and was a pleasure. She saved us at the end.
Definitely not the same island gem I’ve known and loved for so many years.

Been going here for years. They recently reopened from being damaged by a major hurricane. The atmosphere is awesome and food is still amazing!

Great location on Sanibel! Fun environment, food and service! Family friendly. Our family had a great time there last week.

Parking: Plenty of parking! I don’t remember seeing a ramp for wheelchairs but I’m sure they have one.

Kid-friendliness: Kids meals come in a cute car box and the grandkids loved it!
