Pleased to have visited Huxters today in what is their newly remodeled and reopened deli and market. While I was in high spirits, the staff was not and were in fact easily agitated and unhappy. I will be taking my business to Jerry’s from now on.

Initially we stopped as we needed to call breakdown recovery and our UK phones wouldn't work. The staff in Huxters were so helpful letting us use their phone, checking we were OK whilst waiting. The big bonus was their egg and tomato sandwich absolutely delicious. Thank you Huxters you have got a wonderful team.

If you are a working man don't bother going inside. You will be ignored, while they serve rich people who come in after you. Staff is rude as well.

So we went to get lottery tickets and some snacks. Cashier was a little odd. Gave us the third degree on what kind of lottery tickets we wanted, what denominations and just started peppering us with questions. I was waiting for him to shine a light in our eyes. It was just kind of odd. Finally I just asked if he wanted another cashier to ring us out and he told us the other employees were not trustworthy. Maybe he was trying to be funny, maybe we were not connecting , either way , I told my husband maybe you need to be slightly intoxicated to relate to whatever he was saying. Will make a mental note if we ever go there again .
