Best restaurant on the island. Good cocktails and food. Specials change each night. Piano man has retired, not sure he is being replaced. Excellence through the menu. Wish the Veal Milanese wasn't so greasy, but many other choices available. Please bring back the rack of lamb and homemade mint sauce.

Those 5 ratings are 5 Plus!!! An exceptional dining experience. Greeted by the General Manager,Marcus Preece , and entered a fully equipped bar. Bartenders excelled in their mixology & handled our big group so well! Then came the meal .. so many choices found crafted carefully & plated expertly! Our waiter, Matthew, added to this fine dining experience with his person interactive service! All servers were amazing! This is a must visit just over the Sanibel causeway for a truly fabulous dining experience!!!!

We came here for our 10th anniversary. Kristin was absolutely wonderful, and really made our dinner and time at Cielo so special. I cannot recommend her or this restaurant enough! The food is delicious, and the people so are so friendly and genuinely caring.

I would like to begin by saying that the food was very good. Unfortunately , the service was not great. We felt rushed, plates where being removed without asking if we were finished. My son in law’s dessert was removed when he put his fork down for a minute. The waitress grabbed the plate so fast that we didnt have time to let her know that he was still working on it. I asked for a steak well done and the waitress insisted that I order it medium well. I had looked forward to eating here and my experience was ruined by poor customer service. We have been to Cielo numerous times before and after the hurricane and never had this negative experience. We were a party of 6 on a Saturday at 5 45 pm. We ordered appetizers, drinks, wine, bottled water our entrees and dessert. We were great customers and should have had better service.

Walked in here as a person with celiac disease - they were only serving dessert but had a really nice gluten free option. Was terrified of cross contamination but I was assured that all ingredients were gluten free- it was delicious and I didn’t get sick. I hope this establishment continues to support people with autoimmune diseases and food intolerances- it’s so nice to have delicious and decadent options such as this

This is a culinary experience in Sanibel not to be missed. The menu, food and cocktails are second to none- giving vibes of fine dining in big cities like New York and Miami.

The ambience is wonderful! Beautiful live piano, clean, great bar, and lovely decor.

If you’re in Sanibel, you MUST go to Cielo for dinner or to the bar (it’s also a good chance to get dressed up!)

(Check their openings hours as they’re not always open)

First trip to Cielo and it did not disappoint. From the drinks to the desserts everything was amazing. Best Calamari we have ever had, Scallops were amazing, Sable Fish buttery and tender. Portions were perfect. Our server Janelle was friendly, informative & fun. A must do when on the Island.

It was our family’s first time at Cielo. The restaurant has great décor and ambiance.
We all had an amazing dining experience from the appetizers, soups to entrees. We each tried something different from the menu and the food exceeded our expectations! It was well-made, and worth every penny. Outstanding service!

I dined here before Hurricane Ian in mid-2022. The dinner was great. I had the best escargot Rockefeller ever. The building itself is quite nice as well. I highly recommend to all on Sanibel or the surrounding islands. By far the best restaurant in Lee County.

Wonderful food celebrating my daughter’s 10th birthday while on vacation. Everything was good, with the grilled shrimp being a favorite amongst our group of 6!

One of our favorite restaurants ever. The decor especially the artwork is amazing. The atmosphere is crisp and clean without being stuffy. It is fanciful fun. We wish we had it I. pittsburgh! The piano player was incredible. Everything was 10/10 in taste and experience.

Dietary restrictions: They were more than wonderful & knowledgeable about my son’s severe food allergy! Best experience!

Kid-friendliness: All of the staff were awesome with our 7 year old son. Giving him a fun straw and helping make his first fancy restaurant experience friendly & fun!
