I got the grouper topped with some “mud bugs” and my wife got stuffed shrimp. Both were fantastic. This restaurant is a must during your visit to Sanibel.

My wife and I ate here on November 19th and had a great meal. My wife had Blackened Fish Bites and I had Shrimp in Cajun butter. And we shared some fantastic fresh Cajun pork rinds. Fantastic meal and we highly recommend this place.

Went to MudBugs for the first time recently. The food is outstanding. We went on a Saturday evening, so there was (extremely good) live music, and our waiter was on top of things. Food came out piping hot, was flavorful, and the portions were very appropriate. The restaurant has a really neat vibe as well. 10/10, I’m definitely going back!

Party of 4 and our first time here. 2 in our group had been to Nawlins and knew what to expect, I did not. I ordered the Chicken Royale and ate every bite. Portions were sized just right and we had a desert. Mixed drinks were very tasty and the live music (lots of George Straight) was a nice touch. Kudos to the owner(s) and staff for getting it right. Ill be back!
