Fabulously fresh (sorry for the pun but ‘tis accurate!) food at this Periwinkle diner. My hubbie’s vegan and he’s found it especially tricky to find a decent meal in Florida. But here at Sanibel Fresh we’ve both had lovely meals - and the owner is super-friendly too!

Amazing food, amazing environment and the service was really quick too! Their key lime pancakes are so unique and delicious— I’ve also had one of the açaí bowls and their Ham and cheese paninis— delish! Will def come again when I’m back in Sanibel!

Stop by for lunch on our way home from fishing. The menu was exactly what we were looking. I found a madras curry with quinoa that my son just loved. The team was so friendly and really made sure everything was just right. Will definitely go back next time we are in town.

I took a visiting friend from CA, whose health requires GF/vegetarian menu, to Sanibel Fresh - my first time as well. It's conveniently located just after crossing the causeway, very clean and VERY friendly! We were very pleased with the selections - even daily specials (see pic) had numerous choices. My friend had the avocado toast, and I had the turkey brie sandwich from the specials board. We were quite pleased with the quality and portion sizes - very generous. We didn't think to take pictures until the HUGE GF brownie serving arrived - more than enough for 2 people - very rich. While we were considering our order, which you place up front, the chef came up to us, nicely introduced herself and explained her products. The server/cashier was also quite personable and exchanged pleasantries with us during our visit and checked on our possible needs and satisfaction. I would give them 6 stars if available.

Not sure if we're coming late to the party, but my husband and I just had lunch at Sanibel Fresh. Wow! I can't believe we've been coming here for years and never tried it. One of the best quiches I've had and my husband loved his turkey wrap. He said their ranch dressing actually had some flavor to it - most are pretty bland. There were so many items on the list I wanted to try. We will definitely make this a new regular stop on future trips!

Dined in for breakfast before we went to the beach. Everything gluten free was marked and the staff was very knowledgeable. The gluten free blueberry muffin was so light and yummy unlike most dense gf muffins. I also had the gluten free ham and cheese sandwich- It was so good! The staff was SO nice. Very friendly and helpful. No photos since I ate it all too quickly!

We have something similar up north, and were so happy to have options like the açaí bowls and avocado toast for breakfast. Right up our ally! Keep up the organic, whole food, healthy options :) I would definitely go again.

We visited Sanibel in June and visited Sanibel Fresh because we did not want to wait 45 minutes for breakfast on Father's Day. I'm so glad we went there. Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS.They had an amazing variety of gluten free food which we needed for one of us. GF pancakes were phenomenal. The regular and GF pancakes are gigantic and yummy. The avocado toast with eggs was so darn good I got it twice on our trip and since I've been trying to make a copycat version at home! They had out samples of some of their muffins which were also melt in your mouth tasty! The best part was the coffee for me! The Jamaican Me Crazy was the best coffee I had on the island! I would have eaten there everyday we were there if I could have.Staff was friendly, food was FRESH and I LOVE finding healthy food on vacation. Place was clean!! Wish we had one here at home!!!

My mom and I got the avocado toast with your choice of how you want your eggs done. Very delicious, my mom said there coffee was amazing and I very much enjoyed the hot earl grey tea I got as well. We sat inside and the ladies who work there are extremely nice an friendly! I didn’t know they had smoothies, but i’ll be sure to come back and get one next time!!

After researching places to eat, this place was not even on the radar but on passing it I made a U-turn! I came just past breakfast but they still sell their acai bowls. This place was much more my cup of tea. The waitress was helpful, too, in recommending a kayak rental (Tarpon Bay) - the day was a HUGE success - thank you.

Food was delicious! We went here based on the reviews and dairy free and gluten free options. We got a breakfast sandwich and the Buccaneer Açaí Bowl. They were both delicious! The bowl is quite filling. You grab a menu and sit down and figure out what you want. And then go up and order and they bring it to you. We appreciated the outside seating also. Definitely will be back. The coffee was good too.

We were very pleasantly surprised with their food. I don’t normally get Acai bowls, but got the Paradise and it was excellent. The quiche was very very good, excellent crust. They even had good iced tea, which is rare for Florida’s West Coast.
