This place is extremely racist. My family and I who are Hispanic (party of 5) arrived and waited to be seated and were told 10-15 minutes. Two other families that arrived after us (party of 6 and party of 4) who were told 20-30 minutes were seated before us. My dad asked the host why they were seated before us and the man lied saying they had called ahead. Even the family that was called was extremely surprised that they were seated before us. The entire situation made us extremely uncomfortable and we will never be returning to that restaurant again.
We had the crunchy grouper sandwich that was delicious! I asked for sweet potato fries as a side, but they were disks and not fries. Although they were good, it wasn't what I was expecting.
Go Pacers!
The food was reasonable priced. The service was good and they had a wide selection on the menu to choose from great food
We are from out of state and wanted fresh lobster. This is not the place. Even the filet mignon was horrible!
The place where locals go.
Lively place for dinner! Food was a 3.5. My grouper was good and my husband Thai shrimp was good but sides were average.
Well for starters the escargot, raw oysters, and oysters Rockefeller were out of this world. Both the red and white clam chowder were like perfection in a bowl. My entrée was the baked stuffed shrimp and hands down AMAZING. Our waitress was YO and she knew everything about the history of the restaurant to the menu. I was very interested in the collection of oyster shells on the walls and she explained that as well. TEN STARS !!! I recommend to anyone who loves fresh seafood and visits Sanibel Island.
We had Thanksgiving dinner last night at the Timbers. The meal and most of the staff were great. However, there was a mix-up as we were being seated. One of the hosts directed us to a table and left. Just as we were sitting, another host came and yelled at us to get up - “…he wasn’t going to sit 3 tables for 1 server!”. I guess there was a misunderstanding between the hosts, but this guy was way out of line. I didn’t get his name, but we sent his picture to the management. Nearly a month later, we have no response. We won’t be returning.
Burger was over well done. Hayley is a great server. Locals love it!

Great place to watch a game. Great service and good food. I only had appetizers and beer while watching. They were good. Will go back again if I vacation here again.

Only true sports bar in Sanibel. Friendly staff. Nice variety on food. It's Sanibel so a rad bit pricey, but this is a fun place.
Parking: Parking below the restaurant and in adjacent parking lot.

Drove down to Sanibel for no reason. Stopped in at Sanibel Grill before we headed back to Tampa. The oysters were delish. Haven’t had oysters in a while. Had the salad with the cranberries and almonds. Very, very good. Lots of TV’s for the game. Did have to listen to the table in front of us discussing who was the fattest. Honestly, the last thing I wanted to hear. Three or four lovely ladies without an ounce of fat on them, all beautiful and they don’t realize their worth or how others see them. Confidence is extremely sexy, putting yourself down is not. Just putting that out there. Anyway, food was great, beer was great, service good, atmosphere very good. Would dine here again.
