I miss Schnapper's so much. It was the one place I always wanted to go for a hot dog. I do hope they're able to come back one day!!

Unfortunately hurricane Ian tore this place up and it’s currently closed. I pray that they’re able to reopen because this place is such a hidden gem! They make the best double dog you’ve ever had, and the fries are delicious. Get a double with chili, mustard and onions and you won’t be disappointed. If that isn’t your favorite combo they have other things too.

Very good food! Cheeseburger was delicious! My only complaint is not enough places to sit! When we came there last week it was looking nasty outside and looked like it was about to rain and the only seating we saw that was available was only outside! So we decided to go back to the order window and get our food to take back to our hotel! But when we got back to our hotel before the rain started! we thought the cheeseburger's/fries where deleterious! The only thing I didn't really like was the Ice Tea! I wish they would had sweet or raspberry ice tea as well as plain! But other than that the burger's where great and will be back the next time we are in Sanibel!

Go to Schnappers Hots about every two weeks from Ft Myers for the fish and chips as it is the best around. We always go on Friday after 4pm as it is 14.95 instead of 16.95. Well went today 8/26/22 at four thirty and ordered our usual which was 2 orders. Instead of charging us the 14.95 each we were charged 16.95 each. My husband told and showed the cashier what the amount was and she said nothing she can do about it. The register didn't change the amount. Said not our fault but it did not matter to her. She said nothing she can do about it. So 6.00 for toll and an extra 4.00 for the food. 10.00 doesn't seem alot but just making a point. Normally would get 5 stars but today only 2 for service.
