Giving this restaurant a 3 based on the paella & wine alone. We came here specifically for paella. We were disappointed at the lack of structure for ordering and confusion on availability. The manager that evening knew this from our earlier conversation and avoided checking on our table.

Longleaf Writers Conference at Seaside, Florida
We love 87 Central, right in the heart of Seaside, next to Sundog Books! They have a great outdoor seating area, shaded and cool, nice people, and the food is top quality. They fed our large group and everyone loved it - the Longleaf Writers Conference loves 87 Central!

Unfortunately, an absolute waste of time and money. You would expect more, but I can understand a new business trying to work out the kinks. The service was lacking and the paella was underwhelming. Fantasic selection in wines!

Love the elevated dining feel but still in the heart of all the Seaside action! The sushi is really creative and delicious, and they often have really fun specials, with the menu always evolving so there's always something new to try. Plus, the most extensive wine list around!

For anyone not familiar, 87 Central is a brand new concept that you can experience in Seaside, FL brought to the area by long time Chef Jim Shirley.
