Great spot for bbq and awesome customer service. Loved everything about it. Had the brisket sandwich and fries. I had the bread pudding for dessert which also was very good. Everything made in house. A must try if you love bbq.

I ordered some briskets and ribs dinner Plate halfway through my meal I felt something in between my teeth and it was a hair. I threw the food away. Call the restaurant talk to Jill. She said she would have the owner call me which they never did. My wife happened to be looking for her credit card and they forgot to give her her credit card back. I went back the next day. Of course I complain about it and jill accused me of being rude over the phone, which I was not. I guess one of the owners understood that I was angry the day before so he replaced the dinner that I had thrown away. Long story short it wasn’t any better and I’m for sure. I’ll never go back to this restaurant. It’s disgusting. And Jill is a rude person will not go back just because of her demeanor.

first time trying this bbq spot and it was good overall!
we ordered the pork belly bites and they were delicious! tender, smokey, fatty, and spicy. i wish there was just a little less sauce on them.
for mains, we got the combo platter with ribs and brisket, corn nuggets, and sweet potato puffs. the brisket was super tender and juicy! the ribs were smokey and not completely fall off the bone and had a bite to them. which i personally like. the only part of the meal which didn’t like was the meat dressed up in sauce. i personally like it on the side.
my wife thought the pork belly bites and her pulled pork sandwich tasted old but it tasted fine to me. pulled pork was tender.
my favorite part of the meal was probably the sides. those fried corn nuggets were to die for! as well as the sweet potato puffs.
overall it’s a good bbq spot. not particularly my favorite style but still satisfies that bbq craving.

98 catered our get-together last weekend and the barbecue is on point as expected, but the undercover knockout was the potato salad. I don't even like potato salad but I love thiers! Years later for an update... everything is still phenomenal! Potato salad is still off the charts

I took a seat and waited over 10 minutes to the server come and bring the menú brought the drinks and another 10 minutes to take my order. The food took about 20 or 25 minutes until I had to walk to the server and ask about the food she said she was asking but never did and she just walked away talking to the other servers when I asked if my food was coming and she said they just started doing it and the place wasn't even busy just 2 more tables and the more on the other side + the attitude of the servers honedtly I don't recommend this place unless you just want to take a seat and drink a beer. I can't believe I was about to get a $20 burger in a place that serves drinks in foam cups and saladas of $22 in a to go foil plate 🫠

My husband and I visited from Atlanta GA. We ordered combo platter- brisket and chicken. Everything was delicious! I love fried fried okra, 98 Barbecue, you brought back memories of my grandma’s orka! OH! I can’t forget bread pudding - phew 😇 I have to try the award winning gumbo when I come back! 5 star eating!!
