Nope, nope, nope. Overpriced is definitely an understatement when it comes to this place. So let's start by the beginning, reservation at 7:45PM, sitting down at 7:50PM, so far, normal. Ten minutes to get drinks, ten more to get the waiter to come take our order. We had some questions on the menu, because my sons wanted the fried rice with shrimp, the menu says that you can also order just half portion. When I inquired about this, the waiter said "the half portion is for the protein, the rice is the same", I asked again if the plate was large enough that my kids could share, he strongly suggested that each get their own, so that how we ordered. Food took roughly 50 minutes to get to the table, each plate of fried rice would have been enough for the four of us to share! I felt ripped off, honestly, as far as my plate goes, it seems they lost the salt shaker in the kitchen, not seasoned at all. I don't mind and will never stop by price for a good meal, but this dinner for four (2 teens, 2 adults) was definitely not worth two hundred dollars.

Incredible! Start to finish. First off the server, Ica was truly one of the best servers we have had. So sweet, personable, attentive. Can't say enough good things. Outstanding service. We sat on their screened in patio that was lovely. The food was DELISH. We are locals and had never been & can't wait to go back. We had salmon nigiri, the squid (calamari) & gyoza for appetizers. We had the tempura grouper & the panko snapper for entrees & the banana dessert. All were wonderful. Also the spicy mayo is the best we have ever had. Love it!

The menu and the service here were excellent. We enjoyed our sushi, firecracker grouper, and red curry shrimp, too. The restaurant is small and cozy. Although we sat inside, we decided that the outside areas would have been preferred.

We didn't plan on eating Asian food on vacation since we have really good Asian at home. But last minute decided to go here. It's as good as it gets! You won't be disappointed, unless you're that type of person anyway.

The Fried Rice and the Honey Glazed Chicken did not disappoint. Those fresh veggies tucked underneath, had the perfect crunch. It took a little while for our food to come out.. but other than that, everything was great. The fried rice and the glazed chicken entree made for great leftovers.

Extremely rude, almost felt they were racist. There was trouble initially to get us seated, even after reserving a table in advance. The server was not ready to listen at all. We walked out without eating and no one came up front to apologize. Extremely poor service would never step in that restaurant again ever.
The minute we got inside, it was very rude and racist environment. The server was obnoxious and was not will ing to attend respectfully. The owner didn't care to acknowledge that or tell anything to server. Price and treatment don't match. Would not recommend to anyone.

Basmati is a cool casual Asian fusion restaurant with a dark intimate ambiance. Food is distinctly Asian, Thai, Pacific rim flair. Nicely paired soft curries with grouper, snapper, salmon, shrimp and all the land lovers options as well. I highly recommend the panko snapper with curry, really nice dish. The dessert banana spring roll with caramel is quite delicious and a good cap on a great meal. Service is prompt and courteous without pretense. Now there's nothing left for you to do but go get ya some.
