I love this restaurant. We visit every trip to 30A, and I recommend it to everyone. I can’t think of a restaurant like it in the country. It is barbecue combined with a classically-trained chef approach and menu. Don’t miss this place when you’re in town.

The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. We made reservations and sat on the porch on a gorgeous summer evening. This was one of our favorite meals we enjoyed on our trip to Florida. My husband had the Mabel Burger which was excellent. I had the fish special and it was very tasty except the fish was a little overcooked for my taste. However, the potatoes, beans and crawfish ragout were all sensational. I would definitely recommend reservations. We will definitely be back.

Nice place with outside and inside seating options. The sun was intense outside. I had to go next door to buy a hat.Service was friendly but slow and needed second reminders to get some ordered items. And while I love salty things, I found the several dishes I and my partner had were extremely oversalted. But I did like the interesting variety of options on the menu and the quality of ingredients. I was sad that I was too full to try the bread pudding which sounds delicious.

Vegetarian options: While the restaurant is meat heavy, there are a few vegetarian options. I had the Keto Bowl which was good (but salty).

Dietary restrictions: The food is super salty. If you need to watch your salt intake, maybe go somewhere else.

I was visiting here in 30A and this was my favorite vacation. I did not have a reservation but we ate at the bar. It was the off-season so I think it wasn’t terrible to get in, but I imagine a reservation would def be needed during season. The food was delicious! I saw reviews about the bread pudding and we were delighted by the choice, the best I have tasted. The shrimp and grits has nice big shrimp and has a unique flavor. It was worth the price for me. Would def go back. Service at the bar could have been better and it was bit noisy.

Parking: Parking is a bit tight and that was in off season can only imagine during summer

We went for Saturday brunch while on vacation. The service was quick and friendly, and the suggestions made were excellent. The burger, biscuits and gravy, and the quiche special were all delicious. The smoked old fashioned and espresso martini were also hits. This wasn’t my first time at Blue Mabel and I’m sure it won’t be my last.

Went for the Late Lunch Menu and Happy Hour from 3 to 5. We had the nachos, Brussel sprouts and corn dip. All were excellent. Had fun with the Sissy Two Step, which is PBR and shot of Four Roses bourbon! Finished with the bread pudding...a must! Highly recommend...we will be back!

Blue Mabel has been our favorite restaurant on 30A for years. It’s our goto place. Food is always excellent. Service is great. Nice vibe. Fair prices for 30A. And the best hand cut fries in town! Last visit a few months ago the service was rough. Food prices felt like they were really going up. And food was good but not great. This recent visit we noticed prices really skyrocketed. Service was nice but slow. And most importantly the hand cut fries were gone - replaced by some obviously frozen fries not worth eating. When I mentioned my fry concerns (in a fun way to the waiter) he smirked and said I know. Seemed like he heard the complaint a lot! When I cheerily mentioned the missing hand cut fries to the manager, he replied that if I wanted hand cut fries I can go back to the kitchen and can cut them myself! It was said with a smile… but my wife and I were shocked with that response. We will still keep going to Blue Mabel for Happy Hour as that is a great deal. But if we don’t see things improve in the coming months, we will likely move on to many of the other great places on 30A. So my message to Blue Mabel - are those frozen French fries really saving you enough money to keep getting your customers angry?

Dont go here for dinner. Go to the Red Bar. You get so much more for what you pay for. Service was very good. Staff was very friendly. Seated us right away. My husband loved his dish. My oysters were good. My wedge salad was nothing special. The nachos were amazing. My complaint was the price of the meals. We had 2 entrees and our bill was over $90. We had no drinks, appetizers or dessert. It was very overpriced and the portions are small. The oysters were $17 and there were only 5. The Red Bar has fantastic food and the portions are huge. Louis Louis is the sister restaurant to Red Bar and it's fantastic too.

blue mabel luckily accepted our last minute party reservation of 8 people! the service was a bit slow for the pace of the restaurant (which was not completely filled). our waitress forgot 6 items on our ticket — never apologized & was a bit rude about getting the check towards the end.food was decent. nachos were 9.5/10, but the steak (ordered rare ++) came dry and hard. disappointed in my experience, but maybe i’ll be back to give it a second chance
