I love this restaurant. We visit every trip to 30A, and I recommend it to everyone. I can’t think of a restaurant like it in the country. It is barbecue combined with a classically-trained chef approach and menu. Don’t miss this place when you’re in town.

The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. We made reservations and sat on the porch on a gorgeous summer evening. This was one of our favorite meals we enjoyed on our trip to Florida. My husband had the Mabel Burger which was excellent. I had the fish special and it was very tasty except the fish was a little overcooked for my taste. However, the potatoes, beans and crawfish ragout were all sensational. I would definitely recommend reservations. We will definitely be back.

Nice place with outside and inside seating options. The sun was intense outside. I had to go next door to buy a hat.Service was friendly but slow and needed second reminders to get some ordered items. And while I love salty things, I found the several dishes I and my partner had were extremely oversalted. But I did like the interesting variety of options on the menu and the quality of ingredients. I was sad that I was too full to try the bread pudding which sounds delicious.Vegetarian options: While the restaurant is meat heavy, there are a few vegetarian options. I had the Keto Bowl which was good (but salty).Dietary restrictions: The food is super salty. If you need to watch your salt intake, maybe go somewhere else.

I was visiting here in 30A and this was my favorite vacation. I did not have a reservation but we ate at the bar. It was the off-season so I think it wasn’t terrible to get in, but I imagine a reservation would def be needed during season. The food was delicious! I saw reviews about the bread pudding and we were delighted by the choice, the best I have tasted. The shrimp and grits has nice big shrimp and has a unique flavor. It was worth the price for me. Would def go back. Service at the bar could have been better and it was bit noisy.Parking: Parking is a bit tight and that was in off season can only imagine during summer

We went for Saturday brunch while on vacation. The service was quick and friendly, and the suggestions made were excellent. The burger, biscuits and gravy, and the quiche special were all delicious. The smoked old fashioned and espresso martini were also hits. This wasn’t my first time at Blue Mabel and I’m sure it won’t be my last.

Went for the Late Lunch Menu and Happy Hour from 3 to 5. We had the nachos, Brussel sprouts and corn dip. All were excellent. Had fun with the Sissy Two Step, which is PBR and shot of Four Roses bourbon! Finished with the bread pudding...a must! Highly recommend...we will be back!

Summary: Waited almost an hour for our food, there were flies EVERYWHERE, and the food wasn't very good. My burger was dry and didn't have much flavor. The fly problem was crazy... there were many of them inside and we were constantly swatting throughout the entire meal. Too many good places to eat around here... probably won't be back.

We had brunch at the Blue Mabel. Since we'd made reservations through Resy, we didn't have to wait long to be seated. We both ordered the bottomless mimosas. I ordered the Mabel Grand Slam Breakfast- two over easy eggs, C&D Mills cracked corn grits or breakfast potatoes, choice of smoked bacon or house-ground breakfast sausage patty, buttermilk biscuit or buttermilk pancakes.- and opted for over easy medium eggs (perfectly cooked), bacon (thick and crispy) the grits (creamy and perfectly seasoned) and the pancakes - all delicious. My husband went with the Blue Mountain Smoke House Benny - buttermilk cathead biscuit, fried green tomato, soft poached eggs, house-smoked pork shoulder, blistered shishito pimento cheese, bacon apple jam, drippings n' vinegar hollandaise. He said it was REALLY good. Nice Sunday morning vibe, attentive service and very good food.

Seating on the patio is uncomfortable! For the prices we place charges they could do better. $44 for a beef short rib plate, barely 2 oz of meat all fat! Four small roasted carrots and a mound of potatoes! My husband got the shrimp and grits and it was a super small portion as well. Service was okay. But we won't go back or recommend it!
