Bud & Alley's Waterfront Restaurant & Bar

If I was doing this rating on atmosphere alone, it would be 4 stars. But, unfortunately, I must include the overpriced, tiny piece of grouper, the odd tasting cream corn and the bland crab cake. It was our date night and I was so looking forward to an amazing meal. If you’re looking for that special place in Seaside…. I would keep looking.

Great food, location, service and atmosphere!!!

We love Seaside and choose to celebrate our 20 year wedding anniversary at Bud and Alley's last week- I mentioned this in my reservation and requested a table with a view. Unfortunately were sat in what felt like an interior corridor by the wall next to a bachelorette party, was told this was our only option, lots of loud screaming and pass through traffic. The service was mediocre, definitely not warm or personal. The food was also just okay, we have had much better previous visits to Bud and Alley's. I know it was peak season, but nothing about it felt like a special celebration, we left really disappointed.

Incredible view while having breakfast. Food was awesome as well. Our server was so polite and attentive to us.

Let me first say that our server Rita was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST & SWEETEST!!! We are a family who rarely goes out with our young son because of his autism. He doesn’t understand social cues and she seen us struggling with him. She didn’t even hesitate for a second to step in and help 😩❤️❤️ She was attentive, made sure we knew all our options and made our experience that much more enjoyable! The food was 10/10 too. We both had something different and felt like the portions were perfect and so delicious. We definitely will be back and can’t wait to tell others about how good everything was.

Everyone was pleasant, nice and friendly. Drinks were exceptional, although pricey. The food was meh. We ate in the dining room. It was not busy (only one other table of patrons). The prices do not reflect quality of food. You are paying for the area only.

Meh. The drinks are really over priced. Meals aren't exactly cost effective either...We ordered grilled cheese 🧀 for our son and it came with cheetos (junk) and no option to switch to fries unless you bought the appetizer.

Why are rats running around?

We sat on the rooftop bar. Very busy afternoon. We sat at the bar not a table. We ordered, then noticed bees were flying around. Didn't think much about it at first. Then they got worse. Flying right up to us. We said something to one of the bartenders and he said, "Oh yea, they are bad." So, as the bees stayed and buzzed around us, I swatted at one that was very close. It apparently got mad and stung me on my arm. I didn't notice much that day (Sunday). Now on Monday my arm is swollen and red. Our food was good, but someone should have done something about the bees. Good thing I wasn't highly allergic to them. Also, there was a very drunk young woman at the bar being very loud. Sloppily drunk. Not a good atmosphere.
