Cafe Thirty-A

Lovely, lovely restaurant. Beautifully appointed, but Southern comfortable....and a great playlist. As for service, Chuck was a great menu and drink concierge...more than a waiter. We had great guidance on the menu, starter suggestions and the entree highlights. He was wonderful and worth asking for. Our dinner was excellent (snapper, lobster, pork tenderloin and crab cakes) the food and service was top knotch. We will be back. Don't miss this place.

We go to Cafe 30A every time we go to the Gulf if we’re staying within 25-30 miles. Food and service are great. Nice coastal vibe if a bit noisy when crowded. The menu is pretty consistent over the years but there is usually something different if we feel adventurous. We’ve been going to Cafe 30A almost since it opened and plan to keep going back.

A must visit every trip to the beach. Tried and true.

Service was lovely. Hosts were friendly as we arrived for our reservation. Dennis was helpful and attentive as our server. Cocktails were well executed.

The overall quality of the food was great. The wedge salad has an amazing whipped blue cheese dressing, but it is literally swimming in it.

Scallop dish was great. Risotto was cooked to perfection, seasoned 5/5.

Steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, but their Worcestershire ‘reduction’ tasted like an extremely sweet BBQ sauce. A-1 would’ve been a better sauce on top.

Overall a nice experience. Would try again. 4.2/5

Celebrated my wifes birthday and this place did not disappoint. Great food and drinks. Our server was very attentive and even the valet was extremely helpful.

We always make it a point to dine here when we're in town. Most recent trip included the mussel appetizer, Maine lobster in paradise, blue marlin tuna, and peach/blueberry cobbler. Everything was delicious, service was great, and arrival of courses well-timed. It is a loud restaurant so be prepared for that before you go. Their food and service keep us returning year after year!

Food was good. Atmosphere nice. Kitchen super slow, took nearly 2 hours for my wife and I to have dinner and we skipped dessert for fear of being there even longer.

Service was excellent, but the food was not. The steak was slow cooked, cold when served and soaked in sweet glaze to the point that it was mushy and inedible. The server said he wanted to address the steak not looking good with the kitchen but he was afraid to so he didn’t ….. what does that even mean?! The lobster Mac was nothing special. I would not recommend any of those items. the desert however was great! Overpriced for what they serve.

Enjoyed a very nice special occasion meal here. The food was superb.

Update Sept 2025: had a wonderfully delicious meal with friends. Everyone's entrees were superb and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!
