We went on a Sunday, no other customers but the bartender was AMAZING (Baby G!!!), she took care of us like we were family. Making sure we liked our drinks and when we didn't know what to order she let us pick a few flavors and made the PERFECT drink; and let us name our drinks. She also, listened to us, in both life stories and what we like. Make sure you go on a day with Baby G!!
Also, the women's bathroom has the perfect handicap AND baby changing stations. It's in the women's bathroom but very private. Half of the bathroom is dedicated to that and has its own sink and towels. LOVE IT!

Really loved our visit to Distillery 98 in Santa Rosa Beach! You can come and grab cocktails in the bar and learn made with their small batch Half Shell Vodka, get a distillery tour, and learn more about their sustainability initiatives, including their beach safe cardboard vodka bottles. The vodka is filtered through 18 layers of reclaimed oysters, and exceptionally smooth. I very much enjoyed the cocktails and their infused vodkas (made in house) are delicious as well!

I'll say the dual level is nice and quant atmosphere enjoyable. I haven't went outside of events. I couldn't see myself just going on a random weekday. I enjoyed the drinks I had but price is on the high side.
The service was ok and/or slow. Atmosphere was great... if the air is working.
The liquor on its own is OK. I'm sure I'll be back for another local event to see how things are going in there near future.

Loved this place. Space is awesome and the bartender there was freaking awesome. Variety of cocktails from the spirits they make that were very interesting and tasty.
Wonderful cocktails enjoyed in a spacious clean atmosphere. Michael behind the bar has extreme passion for making your cocktail perfect. We went to try a nearby brewery but caught Distillery 98 after, and that was the best stop. I'm definitely going back when we visit the area again.

The Distillery is amazing, especially the beer side. The bartender on 2/15 /25 on the vodka side was truly awful. You had to get her attention although you were right before her while she was not busy, she made the worst unbalanced drinks, didn’t know how to give change when paying with a benjamin. I mean, no thank you, no smile. Fortunately we have been there several times and have had great service from other bartenders. Would have rated 5 stars otherwise.

Distillery 98 in Santa Rosa Beach, FL, home of Half Shell Vodka, a corn-based (gluten-free) vodka filtered through crushed oyster shells. The oyster shells, made of calcium carbonate, are great natural filters. They distill the spirit in a pot still, a column, and a filter system. Their lower-end product is smooth, but their “Dune” is even nicer, and it was a whole $21 bottle with the case discount. The “Half Shell” vodka (available at Total Wine) comes in an innovative paper bottle lined with a wine bag, so you can bring it to the beach/pool or in your cooler and not worry about breaking it if it gets dropped. They also produce corn liquor (moonshine), whiskey, and a botanical gin.

Tried to go to the distillery. Hours said they were open until 7 p.m. Arrived well before 7 and they were closed. Not very customer friendly.
