Busy, busy, busy!! Delicious food, worth the wait (we only had a 5 min wait @ 8:30a). It's a small place with a fast pace. The crab cake Benedict was amazing although could only consume half my meal. Got an apple fritter to go, which was superb even the next day.

A big negative and the only one about the Donut Hole is that employees do not need clean hands to toast any kind of Bread!! Toaster is outside the kitchen.

First off, the line outside is a good sign. I’ve loved the Donut Hole donuts for many years and it is a must have whenever I’m visiting. We particularly crave the chocolate angels and cream angels. I have Donut Hole coffee mugs that I use daily as they are my favorite mugs. Love the key lime pie too, but I was the only one in my family that had never eaten a meal and my daughter said that needs to change so we went for breakfast. At her suggestion I ordered the diet plate and WOW was it good. I saw a sign that they had Florida tomato gravy biscuits so I tried it and it is what I crave thinking back on that meal, delicious. Busy place but friendly service and a relaxed dining experience. I’ll save up calories for the next time I visit so I can eat another diet plate at the Donut Hole. Might even buy a new mug as the writing on mine, after many years, is starting to fade a little but I know what it says to me and that is YUM!

Great food. Huge portions. You can easily split. Pancakes are very big. Short stack of 2 can pretty much feed 3 its so big. Biscuits and gravy very good. Hash browns great. Donuts available at bakery counter. Husband and I split a 2 egg breakfast and a short stack. Any complaints are you ordered too much food so that's on you though not them. Ha

Enjoyed huevos rancheros here. Had an excellent wait staff. Took home a delicious key lime pie, made fresh daily.
Ashley took care of me and she was INCREDIBLE! Due to an uncommon allergy, it can be very difficult for me to eat out when traveling. Some places don’t have a good understanding of various allergies and others don’t seem to care.
That was not the case when I came to the Donut Hole. Ashley took care of me and made sure everything I ordered was safe to eat. This wasn’t horribly difficult as much of what they make is homemade in house. Nonetheless, she checked every label and I felt completely safe each of the 3 times I visited (only place I went to more than once) during my 8 day trip.
It has been nearly 3 years since I have had a donut after developing my allergy because most donuts contain an ingredient that would put me in the hospital. Ashley not only checked the ingredients on their homemade “Angels”, she went back and checked everything a second time before serving them to me just to be sure.
While I was there, I also heard stories about local teens coming in near close and Ashley allowing them to stay later without throwing them out while they shut down because she would rather them have somewhere to go that was safe than throwing them out. What an incredible human being!
The food was excellent, the restaurant was clean, the wall of fresh donuts was appealing, and the service was the best!
