Staff was friendly & helpful. Food had big portions, but average quality & flavor. There really is no "atmosphere" to speak of. It's kind of a fish shack for very casual food. There are many better quality fish restaurants in the area, unless you're looking for big portions and not looking for sophisticated flavors. Sauces are prepackaged where you peel off the top like catsup containers, so nothing special. Plates are paper fry containers with tin forks. Don't bring a "date" unless you're looking to break up with her. ?Prices are reasonable for what you get. We had the coconut shrimp, cheese bites, salads, and grouper for appetizers; and grilled shrimp & crab, chicken strips, and fish tacos as entrees with 2 sodas and the tab was about $200 including tip. All dishes were OK, but nothing special to come back for. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here if I were visiting the area.Parking: There was plenty of parking, given there weren't many people in the restaurant.

My wife and I both had the fried grouper sandwich. We are pretty easy to please, but the grouper was heavy on the salt. I was able to finish mine, but she wasn’t. It comes on a large French roll. It needs to be on a smaller bun or bread. It gets lost on such a large roll. The service was excellent. Beer was reasonable, but I didn’t care for it in a plastic cup.

This place is absolutely amazing. It's got it all; great food, good prices, and the type of atmosphere that makes it feel like a place where all the locals come to get away from the tourists. If you get the steam feast you are in for a treat. Definitely enough to share and the gumbo is amazing too.

A hole in the wall in the best way possible. You'll miss it, if you're not looking for it and it's always packed out, for good reason. The atmosphere is laid back, wear whatever you want. The food is delicious, the portions are huge and the prices... dare I say the best prices in the area? Where else can you get delicious steak and lobster for two, under $60?! Don't miss out on this place.

We liked the atmosphere, but it seems more bar to go have a beer and couple of appetizers than restaurant. Average alligator balls for an appetizer. Brad can have "Brad's Sandwich" as it simply wasn't good. The Grouper sandwich and salad were below average for the area.

We’ve been coming to Elmo’s for years and it never disappoints. Their cheese curds are great to start with, their crab legs are perfect, the steamers are delicious and their blackened shrimp is my absolute favorite! They recently remodeled the inside so it’s nice and cool during the summer now! They also usually have a live band and the atmosphere is great!

Very upset with our service. Our 2 adult/2 kid party ordered an ultimate feast ($42), a kids meal, and 2x snow crab dinners that we thought were 1 lb since that's how it was listed on the menu (market price $35). When we got our check it was about $50 more than expected. We asked the waitress and she was extremely rude and told us the crab leg dinners were $65 just like she told us when we ordered. She did not tell us this at all. I said I wouldn't have been ordering a 2lb dinner for a 13 year old girl. My plate did seem a little large, but my daughters did not so I didn't think anything about them being more than 1 lb. Our waitress continues to argue even when we said the menu said for a single pound. We also were never checked on, our drinks were never refilled, and we ran out of napkins and had to borrow from the next table since we couldn't even seem to flag her down. We also had the crab cakes for an appetizer and they were not good at all. I don't think we will be going back.

Best seafood that we've had on the 30a! I had the ultimate feast, and my husband had the shrimp and crab pot! Everything was cooked to perfection, and tasted amazing! Will definitely be back again!

Solid little seafood spot in the 30A, but not the best. They have live music and quick service. This spot could use a little remodeling but at the very least some A/C. The prices were pretty good. I forgot to take pics of my food but I went with the combo platter with fried fish and shrimp, French fries and coleslaw. It was decent but nothing special. The fish could have been fried a little harder, the breading was really soft. The best part of the meal was our appetizer (and the only thing I snagged a pic of) the gator balls, those bad boys were delicious and full of flavor.

If I could put zero stars I would..... we were staying in seaside and drove 20 minutes to this restaurant based on a recommendation. Let me start by saying, our server Amber, was 10/10. The service was fabulous. But more importantly the food was disgusting. Steak had a sour taste... cooked well done. So dry and chewy I could not stomach 2 bites.... And then the crab legs and shrimp, sigh. They had black dots all over them which we were told was "sea lice." Barf. Maybe lie next time and tell me it was poppyseeds from a house dressing or something.... We got grouper as well, drier than the Sahara desert. We were dripping sweet inside and the beer was semi cold. Don't waste your time, unless you want to go see amber and say hi. What a sweet girl.

No sir, no ma'am. Save yourself a trip to this restaurant. We had the shrimp steamer, fried shrimp basket and crab cake platter. The cole slaw with the platters are spoiled, steamer were bland and the potatoes that come with it are horrible. They charge a 4% fee if you use a card for payment. Why are you charging people for a service that is apart of your business expense??

Stopped in to try this place when we discovered it driving by !! definitely a local spot! loved talking to Mary one of the bartenders. she's worked there for over 10 years and gave us so many good recommendations throughout town. They have live music done typically every night. Terry was performing that night. he was awesome !! He involved the kids by playing limbo with them! Cheap prices, amazing food, and friendly staff ! Will return !

We've been here before and the seafood is always fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, we forgot to take pics. This place I believe only opens at 4 so look up the hours prior to going.

Best seafood value on 30a. The Buffalo Shrimp is the BEST. We always get the A La Carte Feast. It's enough food for 2-3 people. You won't be disappointed.
