Goatfeathers Seafood Restaurant

Last Saturday night my wife and I decided to try the $260 platinum seafood platter. Wish we had not. Nothing had any taste and was horrible. The King Crab, Snow Crab, Lobster, and Shrimp were just downright awful. Will never, ever go here again. Save your money.

We stumbled upon this place while going somewhere else, and I am so glad we did. We had- steak, scallops, shrimp and grits, fried shrimp, and blackened shrimp. When I tell you this is the best all around restaurant we have tried while on vacation I am not kidding. The quality and portion size for the price point cannot be beat. Everything we had was perfect. Service was excellent and we ate in less than an hour. 10/10 recommended and we will be back every time we visit.

I’ve been with family and with coworkers and we all love it!! The food and service is excellent! We had Riley as our server and he was amazing! I highly recommend this place and requesting him as your server.

We stayed in a house in the neighborhood behind Goatfeathers and ordered the first day out of convenience. We stayed 6 days and ended up eating at Goatfeathers 5 times! 😂 Everything we had was fantastic and Will was incredibly helpful!

This awesome restaurant has been in our rotation for years. We're never disappointed. Noah was our waiter. He was excellent. They had live music in the outdoor area. Our party of 4 ordered different dinners. My shrimp & grits were scrumptious. The hush puppies are the best on the coast.

This was the best meal we had at Santa Rosa beach. It's not cheap, but the food is good. Best fish out of 3 places we tried. Crab cakes and shrimp were also good. Delicious hush puppies. Brussel sprouts were phenomenal, and I normally don't like them. People were super friendly.

Kid-friendliness: Our 5 year old granddaughter said of our server, "we have the nicest server". If a 5 year old recognizes friendliness and good service....

Best food ever and amazing staff! If you are in Santa Rosa, you need to put this one at the top of your list!

Kid-friendliness: Provided children’s entertainment with coloring and the menu had pictures so that the kids could visualize what they wanted!

Great food! Great kids meals! Fully engaged servers! Price very reasonable, especially for this area. Cheaper than a lot of surrounding restaurants. Great for small parties or large families. Nice family friendly atmosphere. I got the sampler...honestly more food than I could eat. Left half of it there. We liked the cheese bites appetizer. Kids enjoyed those. The kids meals are served on a frisbee that they can take home. Wait was 45 min, but that definitely beats restaurants close by that are a 3.5 hour wait OR reservation only. We were very thankful for a 45 min wait during a busy time. Kids just did audiobooks during the wait, so no problem.

We had 2 adults and 3 kids.

Clearly some of the negative reviews below are due to the "Trump 47" on the sign outside of the resturant. Apparently politicial alignment affects taste buds for some. ? You know, the people who give a 1 star and say everything is terrible, but hide behind a random picture that isn't even legitimate. ?

Recommend for a nice dinner out. The waiter was helpful and guided us through the menu on the best options. We will return. Seared Scallops... delicious.

Ordered an hour before close, service was great but food was microwaved. Hard to justify paying $100 for that.
