How can I even begin to express my thanks to Cheri, Scooter, Melinda, and the whole GBCE team of incredible staff and vendors! Words won’t ever due it justice, but I’ll try. Our plan was to elope in August. Cheri really encouraged me to allow people into the blessing of witnessing our union and to not avoid a wedding due to various fears. Her kind and tender conversation really challenged me and it began the work, spiritually and physically, of repairing and deepening relationships and laying a healthy foundation for the beginning of our marriage. Since the day we booked we had the whole GBCE family to laugh, celebrate, plan, and at times cry with during the process. Cheri and Melinda work TIRELESSLY in the office to understand you. They truly care - I’ve never seen such beautiful souls than the ones who are all behind the scenes here at GBCE. GBCE planned the most special and beautiful wedding in less than 3.5 months!!!! You would have thought they spent years planning it. But then again, all my dreams long forgotten came to the surface, and everyone did all they could to make those long lost dreams a reality. For instance, I had saved this cashmere looking cake idea for years. You guessed it, they made it happen through their GBCE vendor. I about fell over when I saw it!! The most thoughtful and intentional photographer, Elizabeth Laird, yes a GBCE vendor, took our photos and I’m dying to see how they all turn out! The most gorgeous flowers I’ve ever seen and EXACTLY the specific types I wanted, yes another incredible GBCE vendor, Our Greenhouse. I had so many people come up to me and say they had never seen such an amazing variety of flowers. Jackie, our GBCE day-of coordinator, cried with me on our wedding day because she was so happy for me!!! She truly became a champion of us during the whole wedding planning process. That’s the HEART behind GBCE! Everyone at GBCE is invested and puts their heart and soul into each event. Shelly, another incredible GBCE vendor, took our fantastic photos for the rehearsal dinner and our Photo Booth for our wedding. She was so enthusiastic and took the time to come up with creative ideas like a blow up dumbbell because my husband loves to work out. I got a spray tan, hair, and makeup done through another incredible GBCE vendor and they made me look like a movie star but yet I still felt and looked like myself. I had people come up to me and said I look liked a model and I couldn’t have been a more beautiful bride. The food?!! How can I even begin to express how INCREDIBLE it is in every bite! Exec Chef Blake and all the team knocked it out of the park for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding! We had a 4 course rehearsal dinner, with OYSTER soup!!! My cousins ate 3 meals I think that night it was so good! We had so many people come up to us blown away! Our wedding food was fantastic with an oyster bar, fried oyster passed app, and the rest of the food was just as good!! We love oysters if you couldn’t tell! You will never find a more caring staff of servers, bartenders, and set up crew who are servant-hearted and eager to celebrate you and your guests! Our wedding DJ was another GBCE vendor and he was able to combine our unique music taste with crowd favorites to make it enjoyable for all! Our officiant, another GBCE vendor, encouraged me and spoke truth and life into me in a way that touched me deeply. They truly are a one-stop shop!! You only need to show up with your wedding dress and book a place to stay and even they will give you suggestions on a place to get your dress or a place to stay. That’s how MUCH they take care of for you, so you just get to enjoy the fun parts of wedding planning!! I wept down the aisle (I mean ugly cry!!!) because I was overcome with emotions seeing the love of my life at the end of the aisle. I’ll forever cherish having my dad walk me down the aisle, and all my family and dear loved ones in attendance. I can’t imagine a more perfect day, and would be so sad had I not taken the challenge Cheri gave me to let love win!!!!

We used GBC for Rehearsal dinner, breakfast catered for the day of and the reception. Every single person with the company was exceptional, and went above and beyond. If you’re considering a wedding on 30a this is your place. Can’t say enough good things about this company, they deserve 6 stars!

Booked and paid for 8 person beach party. 2500 bucks. Covid hit, could t do it. I paid with Amex. Asked for credit… they said, check in the mail”,, then said, “ oh sorry, it’s on my desk”, wouldn’t call back etc. a year later or so, I called said I was gonna drop by and get my check… I did, she handed me a sealed envelope. I opened in car and it was for half. I went back in and asked for other half… she said, “oh was that a party of 8”. Lol. When she handed me the check for the other half . She began to tell me she’s never had anyone want ALL their money back. I told her that was a Texas thing. Never again.

I can't say enough about GBC! Our plans kept changing and then the day of the event, a tropical storm hit the area. We were planning a vow renewal for our 50th anniversary on the beach and had to change plans with only a few hours. The servers were incredible, very professional and easy to work with! The food was absolutely incredible. A week later and my family is still talking about how good the food was. GBC far exceeded our expectations! Thank you for making the day so special!

RED FLAG WARNINGMy daughter had the worst experience ever with Grayson Beach Catering. Wedding was scheduled in May 2020, but had to be canceled due to state mandates not allowing out of state visitors. i.e. the bride and groom were from out of state and could not attend due to state mandated COVID restrictions. Company would not refund any money no matter the reason. Had to get a lawyer and file a dispute with credit card company to get some of our payment reimbursed. Which, by the way, was charged wrong to begin with.1. Never Ever Book with a company that demands payment up front. Never ever pay in full before any services are provided.2. This company will not refund any money so don’t let them make you think otherwise. Not good business!!!3. Most unorganized company. I can’t imagine how they get the few good reviews that they do receive!4. Did I mention NEVER EVER PAY IN FULL TO ANY COMPANY! And, if a company does ask for full payment up front RUN LIKE THE WIND because something is terribly wrong if they do.RED FLAG WARNING for Grayton Beach Catering literally, no pun Intended!

They pay attention to detail and make every part of the planning a fun and exciting experience. Not only were they thorough and attentive but GBC was able to pivot our event, beach wedding for 70 people, a day early to avoid bad weather! Literally on Friday AM they pulled off our Saturday evening wedding on Friday to avoid a hurricane. This was absolutely the worst experience imaginable! Please read the full review before booking anything with this company especially your wedding. We were set up for a monthly payment plan for our May 2020 wedding. On three different occasions we were incorrectly charged. In a 5 week period we were charged three separate times. One of those charges was 60% more than it should have been (they admitted to charging us for someone else’s monthly payment). On another payment they charged $1000 more than what it was supposed to be and said they would correct it but never did. In fact, they never corrected any of the incorrect charges and we let that go because we still had a balance to pay and the owner agreed to count it towards that. Then COVID hit and we were not able to have our wedding as planned due to the executive order by the Florida governor. We spoke to the owner and she said multiple times we would be getting a full refund. The next communication we had was her lawyer reaching out to us stating they wanted to work out an agreement that was good for both parties. His offer was for us to get 30% of our money back. Months after we were told by the owner “not to worry you will get it” we were not able to get a full refund. Needless to say, with how disorganized the payments were we can’t imagine how disorganized our wedding would have been. We strongly encourage you to look at any other company for your wedding!

Y’all.I can not say enough how EVERYTHING Grayton Beach Catering did for my daughter’s beach wedding was WONDERFUL! I would give them 10 ⭐️ if able. They were so great when Covid canceled the May wedding and we rescheduled for August. They took away the stress of planning and putting together a wedding from 300 miles away. I’m sorry I don’t have pictures of the food (except the donut cake!), but it was all delicious. The DJ, the Photographer and the Florist they arranged were great. Cheri, the owner, talked me off the ledge several times dealing with our beach permits, etc. I always hung up the phone so relieved.A special shout out to our Day Of Coordinator, Christine. She was amazing!I highly, highly, highly recommend Grayton Beach Catering!
