I was racially profiled November the 2nd I went up to the bar to have a few drinks with a friend and my boyfriend. The Cantina is literally right next to my house. My neighbors were up there. They were up there way before I went up there to my knowledge they were in an altercation so when we came up there, things were already kind of hot, but I still went in there to go get my drinks after that they all came outside in the bartender kicked us all out, assuming that I was with him because I know them we literally live three doors down from each other, but since we were all black, he kicked all the Black people out not the race that was in there and he was very rude about it so I left because I didn’t wanna start no trouble so I went back up there to talk to the manager about the situation. I thought that he understood because I told him what Happened and I went up there a couple hours later to have a drink and some food and the two bartenders were very rude to me. The one bartender cussed at me and yelled at me. Also, the gentleman did too, and the gm did not do anything about it, but besides telling me to leave, and I was trying to explain to him again that I thought we had a conversation and you told me I wasn’t banned because I told him before that I did not come up here with them. They were already up here way before I came up here. It’s not my problem that I live next to them and my feelings were so hurt because I go up there literally very often to get drinks and food. The GM told me that he was going to review the cameras, but he’s not gonna do anything about it. he took his waiter size and I called the cops and only thing they said was I can just call HR. The location is located on Oak Street in Columbus, Ohio. But I know for a fact, they are racist against Black people cause every time I go in there they take forever to come to our table and they just don’t have no respect for anybody but the other race they’re so cheery and respectful

My husband and I stopped in on our way through Columbus Ohio, and we were thoroughly impressed with our meals! The food was delicious!! They had an atmosphere much like Condado tacos, but the bar was set much higher with Local Cantina- when comparing the two, the tacos were so much more unique and definitely more flavorful, the dips blew competitors out of the water, and the atmosphere was so much more authentic and unique! We loved our experience and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend.

Nice location and atmosphere. Our food order was completely wrong. We even cancelled some of the food that was not brought to the table because it took so long to track down the waitress to notify her of the missing food. Ordered the blackened shrimp tacos and they had absolutely no flavor. All the tacos were below average in taste and arrived almost cool. The specialty drinks were so tart they were not drinkable. It was a very expensive night for a below average dinner out.

I give this place 3.5 stars. The staff was really nice and I love the atmosphere but the food just did not do it for us. If you're a Mexican restaurant, you have to have good salsa. I didn't like it all and there was no spicy option. The guacamole and queso were good but everything else we ordered was just average. It could have just been an off night for the kitchen, it was really busy.

We arrived around 4pm. The hostess was a guy who didn’t say ANYTHING, not come this way, not hi, not here’s a kids menu. We were seated and waited an exceptionally long time before offered drinks. The waitress was nice let us know chips and salsa were self served. The food was okay, I received the wrong order. I can’t believe this place is new. I don’t recommend.

I’ve lived on 30a my entire life, and I have to say this restaurant is my all time favorite. The environment, food, and service is unmatched here. A must visit for your next trip!!

This might be the best place that I have ever dined at during all my years in living on 30a. Truly the food, drinks, and ambient does not compare to any other place in town. If you are wanting to have an amazing experience, listen to great music, and taste exquisite foods, I 1000% recommend this restaurant!!

I’m a local, I’ve been back several times and love this place! It’s casual, clean and I love the music and open air patio vibe. Food is fantastic… I’ve had tacos, rib eye, shrimp n grits… all fantastic. Never had a bad service experience. Highly recommend
