Disappointing overall experience tonight. We’ve been visiting this restaurant since they opened over 10 years ago. Be warned they are now charging credit card transaction fees and mandatory 20% tip. The only sure way to not get more than 20% tip is to make it mandatory. It would be one thing if these were disclosed prior to seating. But both of these were a surprise to us. We are family of 6. We were very generous, spending over $175 before taxes and tip. We likely won’t go back unless their policy changes.

The service was great. However, the fish tasted rancid and the crab meat appeared to be taken exclusively from the joints of the crab. The tables, along with anything you might touch, were sticky.

Steak was cooked perfectly! Kudos Chef!! Waitress was adorable! Prices were reasonably! We sat outside on a covered porch, nice and cool! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!

Laid back place with a great jalapeno marg and excellent food and service. Will definitely make another visit. Fried crab claws, and the Mahi was delicious.

This was our second time to eat at Local Catch and we really enjoyed it. The nachos are amazing. My kids devoured them before I got a picture. We got there early so we were seated quick and the food came out fast as well. Our waiter was friendly and took great care of us. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I was overall pleased with the food and service. I don't even have a problem with the mandatory gratuity for a group of 6 or more. My only issue is the card fee. I understand that card fees are becoming the norm, but that card fee should be a separate charge with taxes, not added into the food and drink totals so you end up paying gratuity on that as well. Just an irritating situation.. I had the fish and chips with fries and dirty rice. Loved it, ate every bite. The dressing it was served with was fantastic to dip fries into. SIL had sweet potato fries-SO GOOD. Kid had a cheeseburger-ate every bite, which is a rare occurrence. Good prices on bottled beers. Haha I'm just a grumpy old Karen about paying gratuity on a card fee. Atmosphere a 4, because there was a funky smell at times that was not food related.
