Looks great and smells great but it ends there. My family gets seated and then we start waiting. Booth next to us gets seated and within moments has a waitress and is getting drinks. We still haven’t seen ours, we flag down another waiter and eventually our waitress gets to us after we had been sitting for almost 15 mins. Ok they were kind of busy so we move on. Ordered the steak Tortillon Burrito, the steak may well have been beef jerky for its texture and saltiness. They rest of the ingredients in the burrito were fine but when the protein is borderline inedible it ruins the entree. Guessing they had to cheapen all the ingredients to pay for the nice new restaurant but I’ll be going to Taco Bell or Del Taco for Mexican when the seem to use the same suppliers.

Went here for.mu daughters birthday
The waitress was horrible
Wanted to bring ice cream to my daughter before food even came out. Never was checked on throughout time of sitting for refills or anything. No singing nothing for my daughter for birthday. Food was absolutely the worst Mexican food we ever ate. Atmosphere was beautiful. But go for pics do not recommend eating here or celebrating any birthdays here

Great Mexican food and hospitality!
Best on 98!
We had the tamale/enchilada combo
And the Enchilada Verdos
Both were exactly what we were hankering after
And a mojito to beat the mariachi band!
We WILL be back

Large traditional menu with some interesting combinations. Numerous options to choose from. Wonderful decor. Nice ambiance. Several margarita flavors were offered but I chose sangria, which was very good. We both ordered enchilada platters, which were large portions and delicious.

Service was extremely slow and they weren’t busy. Food was cold on the inside. Waiter never once asked how our food was, if we needed drink refills and didn’t see him until we had finished our meals.
Restaurantji Recommends
Pay attention. Are clearly telling their servers to omit certain details when it comes to paying the bill. Are pretty much running a legal scam.
Edit: This happened in Freeport. Highly do not recommend to come here if you plan to pay with a Card. Used my card to pay for the bill and tip. Checked my account the next day and they took out more than what the bill was for. Called the restaurant to speak with a manager out of curiousity to ask why I was billed more, as I signed the check for a certain amount. The guy was instantly rude. Claimed according to his screen I paid "this amount for food, this amount for tips, and this amount for tax. Totalling this" Listening to those amounts... there was more than I wrote for the tip (and it wasnt like I left a bad tip to begin with). I told him the receipt I had signed wasn't that amount for the tip. He sounded pretty agitated about it claiming that was the amount I was billed for. I get that, but that's not the amount my receipt nor what I signed for was... He wasn't even physically looking at their copy of the signed receipt and I tried explaining that I did not authorize that much. I ended up hanging up on them before they got me to the point of being rude back. They can keep the extra tip. They can lose another customer. If you decide to go to this restaurant, be careful. Sounded like the "manager" of this place didn't even care they done that.
Have been going to this restaurant for years. Just visited new location in Santa Rosa Beach. The service was sub optimal. Server was rude and seemed put off by our requests. The steak in the fajitas were tough and grisly. For the price tag the steak should be lean. The chili relleno was inedible. Too doughy, not the deep fried as it should be and the white sauce it was smothered in was bland and had a tinge of fragrance to it . Unfortunately it will be a long while before I revisit this establishment.

The food at the new location is not as good as the old location. The presentation is fancier. The chips don't seem as crunchy. Services is slower than before. There are plenty staff around but drink and food delivery takes more time than at the old location. We have visited four times since the move. We will probably go back in anticipation that things will improve.

Horrible service, had to flag down the waiter just to get anything for the table. Food was mediocre at best. Margaritas are decent, long wait for what is ordered, even though the place wasn't busy, and there had to be at least 20 plus service staff on the floor walking around and doing nothing.
Was presented the bill, the waiter came back in 15 minutes and stated he had given the table the wrong bill. He thought it was a joke, not funny to me. Be prepared to appreciate the new decor (they recently moved to new building) but underwhelmed by everything else.
