Killer atmosphere, great food and wonderful service. We ate here 4 or 5 times over the course of a week. All our servers were excellent, but Kevin is as good as it gets. BBQ wings were some of the best I’ve ever had, as were the burgers. Cucumber Cooler is also now one of my new favorite cocktails. Well done!

Literally the best burgers we have ever had! The staff was phenomenal!! Even when they were PACKED they were kind, genuine, and quick! We ate there 4 times on our trip and I’m still drooling! If you’re in the area- eat here!

Papa Surf Burger Bar delivers big on flavor! The burgers were absolutely delicious, juicy, fresh, and packed with creative toppings that really set them apart. The overall vibe of the place was super laid-back and inviting. The staff was friendly and made us feel right at home. The live music was a nice touch and made the evening even more enjoyable. While the burger portions were a bit on the smaller side for the price, the salads were a good size and very satisfying. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving a great burger in a fun atmosphere!

We had dinner at Papa Surf and it was an exceptional experience, thanks to manager Kevin Worley! My family has been exploring the 30A area all week, and while we love dining along this stretch, we often encounter subpar service. That was not the case at Papa Surf!

Kevin struck the perfect balance of professionalism and humor, making us feel right at home. He guided us to some amazing burgers and brews that truly hit the spot. It was clear that he loved this restaurant and treated it like his very own! Because of the outstanding service and delicious food, we’ll definitely be adding Papa Surf to our beach dining rotation. Thank you, Kevin, for making our evening so memorable!

Good food and a good atmosphere! Loved the waffle fries and burgers. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be back to see Papa, can't go wrong here. Keep up the great work yall!!!!!!

Change Up burger is amazing! Loved the vibe in the back with live music. It was a busy night & we were told up front that the kitchen was behind, but our servers were friendly and checked in on our drinks regularly. We didn't mind the wait because the music & atmosphere were great. A must try when in Santa Rosa.

Food was good. It’s nothing crazy. I agree with other reviews, beach prices.
The entertainment was very good though.

We had dinner at Papa Surf a few nights ago. The food was good. No complaints there. However, we were a party of 12 & the menu stated that a 20% gratuity would be included for parties over 7. The waiter did a good job of splitting the check amongst the different families (3 families), nonetheless, several people in our party asked if gratuity was still included. The waiter replied it was not so, of course, everyone tipped based on the total. A member of our party looked at the receipt more closely once we got home and sure enough, the tip was included in the original total. My husband did go back to the restaurant and showed the 3 receipts to the manager. The manager was very apologetic and refunded the extra 20% the waiter would have gotten. I hope this was done in error but be sure to do the math on your receipts if you’re part of a large group.

Ate there while on vacation 4/2025. Food was hot and fresh. So good 10/10 recommend next time anyone is in town. Service was great. Kevin was awesome. Can’t wait to go back!

First time we have eaten there. It was fresh and delicious! Staff was friendly and answered any questions you had. Would highly recommend.

Just enjoyed a couple great burgers. I had the one with Chipotle BBQ sauce, jalapeños, crispy onions...very flavorful!! Good service too!
