We love Pizza by the Sea! It’s always our first meal when we get to the beach every year. I’m surprised by all the recent bad reviews.. our pizza was as delish as always! Staff was friendly and wait was short. Didn’t know they had cookies, but they were amazing! Will def be back again before we leave to go home.

This pizza was very disappointing. The aftertaste was awful. The pizza is very floppy and has a burnt taste that isn’t appetizing. The caesar salad wasn’t very fresh but was the best part of the meal.

I’ve eaten here a ton and have always been satisfied until today. They had one person working the register and she was also delivering food to tables. They really struggled and our pizza was really bad. I hope they can get some help and improve the quality to what it used to be.This pizza was cold and we ordered extra cheese but there wasn’t very much at all.

Pizza was fine. But for the price you’re purely paying for the convenience of the location. $25 a pizza is extremely steep for a 12inch. If you’re looking for bang for your buck this isn’t the place.

We ate here during our recent vacation. It was so good, we came back one more time before we left. We love everything about PBTS. THE BEST pizza, great atmosphere. My only complaint is that they don't deliver to MInnesota. Go! You will not regret it!
Employees are totally disinterested in serving the public. Customers seem to be a distraction to their personal conversations.I used to love this place, but under the new ownership the prices have skyrocketed and the servings are nothing less than chintzy. I’ve tried them twice recently and both time had to search for the cheese and the toppings to find them on the pie. Very disappointing.

We ordered 3 large pizzas, 2 salads, cheese bread and a meatball sub. Eveything came out at different times and it took almost 2hrs to get all the food. The salad is pre-made and should have come out right away. The pizza was burnt (black on the back) and it seemed like 1/2 of our order was missed completely. Food was brought out to 2 other tables that were there after us before we recieved our food. The cheese bread is like a small cheese pizza with very little cheese and the meatball sub is not a sub at all. It's more like an oval shaped piece of pizza with a couple meatballs on it. It was very expensive, very small portions and not good. The people sitting next to us also received burnt pizza. Most of us were still hungry and went home and ate something else. Apologies were made but nothing was done about our food or how long it took. Go somewhere else!

We placed an online order via Toast and it was supposed to be ready at 6:30. However we didn't get our pizzas until 7:10. They only had one guy working - poor kid. No music. TV off. All carry out and dine-in customers were frustrated. This was on a Sunday night during spring break and they only had 1 kid working.

Rarely leave a bad review but we had a terrible experience here (Gulf Place). Service was slow on our carry out order which I can understand given it was a Saturday night. However, the food was awful. Do not go here. We had multiple items (spaghetti, pizza, calzone) and they were all equally bad.

Used to be the best pizza in the area. Now there is black stuff all over the pizza. Dirty pizza oven I assume. Ovens aren't level so all the topping go to one side. We will keep trying. Hope new owners can fix quality and the customer service. Last night the person behind the counter was so high he didn't even see me come in.
