This was such a fun bar! I honestly never knew there was a dive bar on 30A! I came with a friend for the witch ride packet pickup! We split a burger, which was amazing! Had drinks, enjoyed the karaoke! There are all kinds of props to use if wanted! So much fun!

There’s so much to say about our experience, it’s hard to know where to start. All ages are welcome, however it’s more suited for adults. I went twice, the first night with my daughters. We went at 5:00 opening because I wanted to sit at the bar, We had her to ourselves the first hour or so, before it started filling up. It only holds 49 people and quickly filled up. She shared her story with us, as we looked thru the menu. My daughter suggested the dates, I looked in amazement at her cause we don’t like dates. Helen told us if we didn’t like them she would eat them and not charge us. OMG, they were to die for, ohhhhh and the sweet potato chips were amazing too. The second night we went on a Thursday with 5 friends, she sings on Tue, Thur, and Sat, we all had an absolute blast, she was short staffed at the bar, but that didn’t stop her from giving us amazing service. Again we arrived at 5ish and had her to ourself for a bit. She is one of the most entertaining, focused, amazing bartenders I have ever seen. We ate, drank, and laughed until about 9 and headed back to our rental. I come to the Destin area often and I won’t miss a trip to Redd’s. I hesitate writing this post, for fear on my next trip the bar will be full early and I might loose my favorite seat!

Redd is so entertaining and engaged with the crowd. She is REAL and genuinely appreciates her patrons. My favorite spot when I visit 30A. I almost don’t want to share it so the atmosphere will stay quaint and intimate. But it would not be fair to Redd!!

I'm so lucky to have found such a welcoming place. Small, friendly, and hospitable. Being in such a tourist driven place, this place feels like home. Have not been able to enjoy the food yet, but the drinks and service are by far the best! Highly recommend!

A group of us came last night and as it was my partners and my first time, we weren’t exactly sure what to expect…. We were blown away! Redd was fantastic, talented, funny and kind! The waiter, Brian, was the epitome of efficiency and so much personality!! We’ll definitely be back soon…

Not your typical "bar".....I don't know who came up with the original idea, but it was so creative. Redd was so welcoming and warm...(Redd is the owner)....Brian , the waiter was fantastic! We were in a big group and most had been there previously....we were newbies and had a great time...oh, the food was good too! Well sure be back soon...

This place has a really cool atmosphere and unbelievable service. The only issue is, the chicken was bad. And I mean really bad. So much so that we ended up leaving and going home to order pizza. It's crazy how one little thing can ruin an entire experience. I still recommend checking it out... But only for the drinks and entertainment.

Tried to eat there yesterday, 06/14/23. We had a large group, when we walked in the lady/hostess/bar keep was very rude. Said we should have made reservations. We were the only people sitting at dining tables. She did have four seated at the bar. When she returned she again said we should have made reservations as she was the only one working.

Our first visit with Redd, and what a fun visit it was! We stopped in for a drink after dinner and ended up having a positively glorious time learning about Redd, the bar, and all its delightful eccentricities! She was sweet enough to sing for us (on a night that didn't have a "T" in it) and she has a voice that would stop traffic anywhere; deep and bold and full of just the right amount of vibrato. Thanks Redd, we'll definitely be back for more!
