The Lobster Roll and lobster Mac and cheese were mouthwatering. We ate on the boardwalk and it was the perfect beach lunch!

Food was delicious... We got up charged for sides when it was implied it came with the meal. So essentially paying $40 for a grouper sandwich with no drink or side is wild!

The Shrimp Shacks atmosphere and drinks were good. The lobster roll was not worth the market price of $40-$45 though.

While the bar was great, and the shrimp Cobb salad had a very good flavor. I was kind of mad after paying $24 for a small salad that the shrimp, from the Shrimp Shack, were tiny little salty bagged salad shrimp you can find at the grocery store. I have had the peel and eat shrimp and wrongly assumed I would get 5 or 6 of those nice sized shrimp to cut up in my salad. Nope...won't buy food there again.

Our food was wonderful, especially the lobster mac. Margarita was wonderful and kids enjoyed virgin daiquiris. The atmosphere was perfect for our unruly kids and the waitress was honestly the sweetest person we probably encountered while here. But their Mac and cheese for kids was spicy, which made me unreasonably disappointed :) It was almost a perfect dining experience m, but with that big let down on two kid entrees, I was bummed.

Lobster roll was great. Mac and cheese was also great. Even better was the service!!!! Nicholas fixed a mishap on our order and handled it with such grace and professionalism! He kept insisting he wanted to make us something else free of charge and make us happy. So refreshing to see people who take such pride in their work!

After eating at a few inside dining places, we found ourselves coming back to the heart of Seaside for the atmosphere. To our surprise, the food surpassed our expectations, especially at the Shrimp Shack, awesome fresh seafood! We went off a recommendation from the staff and the oysters were small and sweet and boiled shrimp was fresh and fantastic!

After visiting the Seagrove & Seaside area on 30A for the last 20+ years, we always save the last meal of our stay for The Shrimp Shack in Seaside. The lobster roll is the best I've tasted. My husband is a carnivore & even he was converted by the grouper sandwich. They pay special attention to the entire menu. The staff is super friendly, too.

Man. The negative reviews here! C'mon people!! If you have an allergy say something. They can't read your mind. And the one review that said they fixed the problem and still gave a 1 star???? WTH? They fixed it. You said they were amazing! ?? Look. The lobster rolls are pricey. And??? They are everywhere! They were delicious! And so was the coleslaw! People were very nice and food was hot and prompt! Great place!!
