One of the funnest places in the panhandle! We come up from the Tampa Bay area every year for the Swamp Writers Festival, and stay for the fun, food, atmosphere, and of course the beautiful nearby beaches

Stinkys Bait Shack is a true Florida classic. Only a quick golf cart ride from my house and every time I show up with my dog Vivian she becomes the best wing woman a man could ask for. Live music, cold drinks, and the kind of easy energy that makes you forget what day it is.
I have even caught some unexpectedly solid Phish covers here which is not something I thought I would ever say in a bait shop. Every once in a while you run into your kid’s old middle school teacher but everyone pretends it is normal and keeps it moving. And yes they really do sell actual bait right next to the beer. Florida at its finest.
The giant pretzels are elite. These pretzels are making me thirsty in all the best ways. Stinkys is exactly the spot northerners picture when they imagine Florida and for once they are not wrong. Always a good time.

WOW, what a GREAT place for Fried Shrimp, hush puppies and fries. They know how to fry up shrimp that is crispy, tender and give you the best taste of shrimp. Thanks kitchen staff you have the touch.
