The seafood here is so good, you need not experiment with other seafood restaurants in the area because you'll just be disappointed. Shrimp and cheese grits, fried shrimp, buttermilk biscuits, crawfish hushpuppies and them strangely-cut fries--it's all good!

The 3 guys playing music were a delight, and that's coming from someone who doesn't prefer music while eating.

The only negative was the service. Our waiter was AWOL from the time he took our order to the time I flagged him down for the check.

Great place. Everything was very good.
I had the chowder and fried shrimp basket. Shrimp and fries were excellent. Others said the gumbo is great. The bar next door was lively too.

We decided to go for a drive that Sunday. So we headed up the coast and wound up in Santa Rosa. We saw this place and thought let’s give it a try. The reviews were pretty good although some had warned. It was a tourist trap. Most of the food was pretty good. We had Rockefeller oysters, seafood chowder. And the shrimp basket. The oysters and chowder were really good. The shrimp was covered in an undesirable breading with no real flavor. The sidewinder fries were OK and so were the hush puppies. The service wasn’t good. We sat at the bar. And the bartender never seemed to notice us. We had to wait too get her attention for a second beer and then again for the tab. It really wasn’t that busy so it seems more like a training issue or just someone who’s not cut out to be a bartender. I probably wouldn’t avoid it, but I would definitely lower my expectations.

Excellent!! Great food, great service, fun place! Ended up here quite by accident, glad we did!! Shrimp and grits are fabulous! Catch of the day, wonderful. Best part: Nick, our server, did a fabulous job! Made our evening!!

Tried this for lunch on a weekday in January. The manager helped serve us at the bar and she was fantastic. The food was very yummy- highly recommend! We had gumbo, fish tacos, and shrimp. They also had live music and some TVs at the bar. We will be bar!
