Everything was perfect..the atmosphere, the service, the food. Excellent!!! Our server was Chevy. He was amazing! What a blessing he is to all he comes in contact with!
We loved everything about this place! The music was just right, service was exceptional and the food could not have been better!
We had a large family party of 9 small children and 8 adults. We were seated in a lovely outdoor location. The children could move about not bothering other diners. Tyler, our waiter was amazing. He engaged the children and played music that they enjoyed. He then asked for requests and invited the kids to sing karaoke to the songs. They had the time of their lives. I haven’t even mentioned how delicious our food was. Fabulous place!
We'd been in 30a for 4 days and all of our dinners were over $200 and the food was mediocre, then we ended up here! Super easy to make a reservation. The food was delicious and was less than $200. I would have easily paid that for this meal. I had the shrimp and grits and hubs had the catfish. Kids had catfish and shrimp. The calamari appetizer was good as well. Good service. Fried okra was so good, I ordered an additional one. Really really good grits. Only draw back is that there isn't a full bar they only have beet and wine but I would still come here again and again. Delicious.
Fantastic service and food. Ambient was relaxing and classy without feeling stuffy or pretentious. Fresh flowers on table. Crisp white table linen. Easy to make reservations by texting with a quick response. Menu had a good variety although I would have preferred more seafood options given its in their name. Bread pudding was amazing.
Great food and staff! Our second visit in 2 years of vacation. Worth the stop each time! Great atmosphere for indoor or outdoor dining!
Excellent food, service & atmosphere. Powell was our waitress and did an excellent job. Don’t miss out on the fried crab claws - cooked perfectly!
We did not enjoy our dinner at Grayton Seafood. I had the crab cakes that were very expensive and they had no to very little crab in them. They tasted like mushy cornbread. My husband had the fish of the day and it had no taste and was very fatty. He did not enjoy it at all! My daughter had the pasta and it had no taste. There were individuals who worked at the restaurant and I believe one was the owner who did not pay attention to any of the guest except for one table that had people they knew. They could have had their meeting inside or out of site of the people eating. Overall, I had been looking forward to this restaurant. The food and the experience left us very disappointed and will not return.
We came here on a Friday night without reservations. We were greeted by very friendly staff, a casual / laid back atmosphere, and lovely outdoor seating. I had the chef’s special, which that night was the blackened sheepshead with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes - it was amazing...perfectly cooked and decent portion size. Our server Abbye was wonderful! She was knowledgeable about the menu, funny and engaging. We loved the food but she made our experience even better. I highly recommend this place and would definitely return.
Incredibly gracious for the servers and staff that took care of our family. They went above and beyond for us, they have a great staff. Of course the food was great too.

We called and asked if they had inside seating. It was quite cold and we had a person that was very weak from an illness. The hostess said that yes they had inside seating and if we got there in 5 min she could help us. See arrived on time and she said nothing inside. We told her we called and she became rude and said only outside. So we left never to return.
The crew at Grayton Seafood is just amazing and the best dinner out for young families. Not only do they treat you like old friends and have fabulous food, the service is first rate, and they even have a bag of tricks to calm fussy toddlers. We were there with our two kids and their families and the youngest grandchild got upset about something. Nothing her parents did calmed her but the hostess showed up with a little Disney character (and one for her older sister, of course) which immediately made her happy. An older grandson who had been on his best behavior quipped, “Next time I’m going to throw a fit!” ? All this to say Grayton Seafood is the perfect place for your whole crew. Their fried seafood is the best on 30A with such a light batter. And make sure to get the fried okra! Yum!
Our family of four had a great dinner. The fish and oysters were amazing- so fresh! And my 12 year old loved his burger. The service was also great. We will definitely return the next time we are in town. We like to stay in watercolor- this is a nice alternative to going to Seaside, and is only a mile away. Reservations were easy via text message.
We were here for a week an spent 2 great nights eating with our Grayton Seafood “Family”. Food and service were outstanding. Large portions of fresh, local seafood. Can’t wait until next season.
Our first experience at Grayton certainly didn't disappoint. The casual ambiance of the restaurant set the stage for a great experience. We were greeted like we were old friends by most of the staff. The service all around was top notch giving us a feeling that they cared and were excited we were there. When I made the reservation over the phone, my wife and I joked with Tabitha about roses being on the table....when we arrived, they had a special table in the outside area with rose petals sprinkled over the table. It was great. Marcia, our server, couldn't have been more pleasant and fun to talk with all night. The food was amazing. I went with the catch of the day which was blackened over mashed potato's and my wife went with the crabcakes.....superb, compliments to the Chef. Needless to say, this will be a first stop on our next trip back to 30A. Brad M
