I've been going to the CAF for 8 years. Always love their food especially Meatloaf and Shepherd's pie special day. For the first time I was very disappointed. I got the meatloaf special with mashed potatoes and green beans. The meatloaf serving was half the size it normally was. Plus I think the recipe changed cuz it wasn't This amazing moist, delicious meatloaf. It was more condensed and had different flavor and wasn't as good. The mashed potatoes were soupy and the green beans looked very unappetizing. I ended up throwing most of it away. Changing the approach to the meatloaf special and other things I hope is not setting a precedent. And trying to save money and cut corners. Because it takes away from the quality of the down-home cooking that the CAF is known for. I'll give it another try, but if this continues I will have to mark this one off my list Sadly!

Amazing, delicious, under stated. Just a tiny hole in the wall resto, but wow! DELICIOUSLY FANTASTIC FOOD! Cheap but, really really great food, don't let the location, next to gas station, stop u from going. Or the tiny insides. Looks r deceiving , eat here!!!!!

Nothing fancy but the food! This is the true locals (breakfast and lunch spot). Great home cooked biscuits (sausage, eggs, cheese is my fav)! They are known for the fried chicken, but their Gumbo is an authentic roux base and a must have!

A total dive. No pretensions, just good food at a good price. Great place to get a filling lunch with many options. Lots of working men and women in and out and that is a good sign.
