I paced an order for 3 Carne Asada plates. The line was short when I arrived at 6;30, but when I received my order about 15 minutes later the restaurant was busy with a line 6 deep of Hispanic workers who had just finished a day of work. Definitely authentic food with a variety of items from soups, burritos, quesadillas, home flan and tress leches. it helps ifYou speak Spanish (i know the basics), but the lady taking orders knows some English as well. Across the room is a butcher shop and adjacent to the restaurant is a market. Well worth a visit and eat in the restaurant rather than to go and take advantage of the condiment bar (salsas, veggies, etc)

Love there tamales, chicken and pork. My wife really enjoyed her taco salad. Wish I could get more green salsa, bought three tamales and said I could only have 2 small cups. Otherwise we loved there food.

We love this place! Authentic Mexican food, leaning towards interior Mexico, like Mexico City, but also border food like burritos. Large portions, cooked fresh, great salsa bar, and excellent prices. Our favorites are the Gringa, Alambre, and Burrito. Mexican groceries in the attached store.

Best authentic Mexican food in SoWal. This place looks like a whole in the wall, but staff at the counter were friendly & the tacos are amazing. The tacos come w/o toppings, so you can choose what you want from the topping station. I loved being able to shop for my habanero sauce and whole dried chili peppers in the market too.

We're from TN and were just driving around exploring and got hungry. I love authentic Mexican food but my boyfriend had never had it. So we stopped to give it a try and we loved this place! My boyfriend's exact words were "this may be the best quesadilla I've ever had". We both highly recommend this cute little spot!

Best Mexican place to have authentic Mexican food. A hidden gem definitely a local hot spot. The taco, burritos, tamales and tostadas we great so I'm assuming everything everything is great.
