Under The Sea Ice Cream

Disappointed. Drove 20 mins out of the way to get ice cream because the website says the ice cream is hand crafted in Santa Rosa Beach and sourced with local ingredients. We love to visit ice cream shops that make their ice cream. However, when we got there we found it’s Hershey’s. We still bought some for our kids because we didn’t want them to be disappointed. The cashier was nice, but asked if we wanted our change back. I’m not sure if that’s the best way to ask for a tip. Really took us back. Right after we left, she shut the lights off. The sign said they close at 9pm. And she shut it off 30 mins early. I’m just still shocked the website is so inaccurate and misleading. Who does that?

My shake was good but not a very nice place. Cases of gloves and drinks sitting all over floor. I wouldn’t think of sitting in the extremely dirty Adirondack chairs outside. Needs to be cleaned up.

This was a cute little shop! It's Hershey's Ice Cream (idk how they get it from Hershey and keep it cold, though they could have a manufacturer nearby) and so good. I feel that they should have a sign explaining scoop sizes, though. I only knew to get a single (actually two scoops) because I work at an ice cream shop (which actually does small, medium, large, etc), but most people seemed confused on it. I tried the chocolate-dipped waffle cone and it was underwhelming. There's also no spots to eat inside (other than a wobbly table) and limited seating outside. None of that is a turn-off, though (I'm just picky). They get you through a long line fairly quickly, despite the fact that it was a hot summer night. Definitely recommend!

Service was not great. We arrived at 9:45pm, ate the ice cream and there were no trash cans outside so we asked to throw away our cups and both workers had bad attitudes. Won’t be giving them our business anymore.

I got me a cookies and cream ice cream cone. It was amazing, they gave me so much it was great. The service was amazing and Brenda was incredibly welcoming and super funny. She is the best.

Great ice cream. Great service. Their pastries are phenomenal.

Served the group in front of us then told my kids they couldn’t serve them. It was 9:00 exactly and we were the only people in line. Our house is right beside the location by Goatfeathers and we have spent hundreds of dollars here over the years. I’ll never spend another dollar here.

NICEST OWNERS - In 2021 I was craving ice cream and thought the shop closed 1 hour later. So when I walked in 5 minutes after they’d closed, the owner gave me *2 FREE SCOOPS* because they’d already closed the register.Amazing ice cream and other desserts!! We go every Summer we come to 30a on family vacation!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop and the little shopping center it’s in!
