We sat outside so we could catch the sunset. We ordered the fresh catch which was cobia on a mushroom risotto with spinach and it was delicious. I ordered the filet medium rare and it came out medium. I let my server know and since getting one medium rare would take a bit, I decided to keep it. We also ordered dessert at the end. This is where a fine restaurant retains customers. They discounted my meal significantly and gave us the dessert for free. I'll definitely return when back in the area.
The food and ambience were wonderful, but Daniel was a delight! We can't wait to come back in October.
This trip was a daddy-daughter date I enjoyed with my 6 year-old. I wanted to take her to a restaurant with fine dining on scenic highway 30A and after a few googles, landed on Vue. The wait staff was top notch here. They were able to accommodate us even though we arrived about 40 minutes early and made sure to communicate any delays during service, help us take photos and ensure we were safe eating outdoors with a thunderstorm threatening a few miles away. The food was very delicious. We started with lamb chops and cheddar biscuits (neither were phenomenal, but they did taste good). I had the special, cobia with scalloped potatoes and broccolini. The lemon flavor perfectly balanced the savoriness of most of the dish. (I did however request a bottle of hot sauce, because I'm uncultured and needed a bit more twang on the potatoes) Dessert was a mash-up. We were brought beignets with a dulce de leche gelato. That was a perfect end to the evening 👌🏽 You will find this is this place for ladies to get together for a group dinner outing; where newly engaged couples and their families celebrate. It's THAT kind of a place and I think it does a great job of accommodating those types of parties. The food was very good, but I think you do pay a premium due to the reputation this place has built, establishing itself as a top notch restaurant in the area. The view, as the name might suggest, is also quite nice and has to be worth its own markup as well. All in all, I don't feel extorted, but I wouldn't say it's a great deal either. I would come back and do suggest it to anyone looking for a nice place to celebrate or feel important for a few hours.
The view was perfection! Jon our waiter was very attentive & anticipated what we needed even before we did. The Tomahawk was superb! The Mac & Cheese was heaven. Being able to make a reservation was Fantastic.
Donovan was an excellent waiter. Appetizers and Entrees and their presentation was of high quality. Two of our guests commented that they thought the interior had a “musty” smell.
Very nice experience. We were in the area from Orlando, Florida celebrating a birthday. This restaurant has fruit punch that is out of this world
It wasn't bad, it wasn't great. The view is beautiful and venue is nice. Service was friendly and attentive. The food wasn't exceptional, just good.
Food, service, and view were outstanding. Ky took amazing care of us and made helpful recommendations for diner and area!
Absolutely delicious!!! Service and food were outstanding. I got the chef's fried falafel Vegetable bowl which was amazing and my husband got the southern fried chicken breast and loved it. We will definitely be back!

There's not a lot of fine dining in the Destin area but Vue on 30A would qualify for that category. This was our first visit but we'll certainly come back the next time we're in town. The restaurant has a fantastic, unobstructed view of the Gulf - you'll not find a better one. The decor is nice but not super elegant. No dress code that I could see but the overall vibe is very pleasant. The service was really terrific. Friendly and attentive. My 6 year old grandson stated, “She is such a nice lady” - and he was so right. I'm sorry I've forgotten her name but we really enjoyed her and taught her, “The Cork Game” - a family tradition where the wine cork is passed around the table and each family member attempts to drop the cork and get it to stand on-end. Speaking of wine - the wine list was modest in size but really well-appointed - diverse and reasonably priced. There were easily a dozen wines that were favorites of mine. The crab cake and lamb lollipops starters were excellent as was the wedge salad. The fish entree special was Cobia - very rare to see on a menu - so all but one of us got that. It was delicious - perfectly cooked/seasoned and served on a spinach risotto. Excellent. Unfortunately, the guest that didn't get the fish got the steak special (a Cowboy Ribeye) which was disappointing. Per my guest - it was perfectly cooked with great flavor and seasoning but was very tough/gristly. A good bit of it was left behind - unusual for a ribeye and based on the quality of everything else we had - I'm guessing this was just one of those one-off things that happen at nice places. It wouldn't stop me from coming back and trying the steak. As noted, we'll visit again in the future.
Loved dining on the terrace with the gulf views. Very courteous staff. Ky, our waitress, made sure we had everything we needed and the meal was delicious! The filet was delicious as was the beet salad. Highly recommend this dining Venue!!
I love this place. It's a little pricey but well worth it. The ambiance, the view, the food portions, and the taste of the food 6 all fantastic.
Let me start off by saying I had high hopes for this place. Parking is very tight. It shares a parking lot with a pool that is attached to the restaurant so if you have outside seating you will have club members swimming in front of you. It's right on the beach and has the most amazing breathtaking views of the Gulf. There is literally no cell service inside even with their wifi. My husband ordered the crab cake and I had a Caesar salad. Both were really good. Then our main course came. I had the shrimp and scallops which was good. Nothing I would have to go back for though. My husband ordered the tomahawk chop and she said chef suggests medium. Perfect! Well it arrives and my hubby starts to cut it and it looked like he was cutting into jello. It was jiggly. It was RAW inside. Definitely not medium. Needless to say this was a fail for us. Also dress code is all over the place. You would think it would be a nicer restaurant for the price but there were people dressed nicely and others in crop tops and cut off shorts. Just not the vibe I was hoping to get.
Beat food we have ever eaten there. Wonderful chef. Presentation was amazing. Our waiter was outstanding
