We had a wonderful dinner last night at 418 Gourmet with a great waitress "Barbara" who was very friendly, engaging, and personable. We happened to go there for the "Savor Sarasota" promotion. We were not disappointed. It was a 3 course meal for $35pp through the end of July. Lovely atmosphere and decor. In addition they have a lovely outdoor area with a fireplace to enjoy in our cooler months. We will definitely be back!!

Our server, Adam, took wonderful care of us throughout the meal. He explained the menu with expertise. The watermelon feta salad was out of this world! As was the beef pot pie and chicken cordon bleu. We would gladly return. Thanks!
The food was of excellent quality and flavour. The Chef defiantly knows what they are doing. Our Server, Barbra, was above and beyond. Attentive, suggestive, responsive to all our needs with a delightful genuinely positive personality. I had the Salmon with the Watermelon Salad. My wife had Shrimp with their Caesar Salad. Both of our meals were excellent. My Watermelon Salad was very good but I was envious of her Caesar Salad, Top shelf. This was our first time there but will defiantly be back. It made for a delightful evening.
Food and service were spectacular. This was our first visit and we'll absolutely be back. Everything about this place felt welcoming and warm. The swordfish and Oreo bread pudding were extra special!
This should be a 5 star. Great decor inside. Outside patio is lovely, unfortunately raining the night we went. We went around 6pm and plenty of street parking. Small bar - only seats 4. Barbara was our bartender, server and excellent!!! Drinks were good . Small intimate restaurant inside. We all ate off the sarasota summer menu - great value. Out of some items but did nice job of substituting. I had the salmon & thought it was excellent Ceaser salad for appetizer - would prefer the greens to be chopped & needed a little more dressing. Oreo bread pudding was okay. 2 others had the pot pie: Soup appetizer was noted as outstanding. Meatball appetier very good. Mixed review on the pot pie: filling was tasty but didn't care for the puff pastry on one. Out of the expresso creme brulee & substituted blueberry cheesecake which got average reviews. Very quiet for a Friday night. Overall, good value, good food & I will go again towards fall & sit outside.
Delicious meal! Loved the pineapple/citrus topping on my perfectly cooked Salmon. The Potato soup was tasty. The Caesar salad was refreshing. Shrimp Scampi was spot on. Bread pudding was a lovely completion to a well-prepared meal. Kudos to the Chef and excellent service! Thank you, 481 Gourmet.
Our service was outstanding at this hidden gem of a restaurant in the Rosemary District. We had the Caesar salad and watermelon salad that were delicious. We had the salmon and the chicken cordon blue melted in my mouth. Finish with the Oreo bread pudding and the cream brûlée! Everything was delicious.
Wonderful menu...yummy food. My friend & I were each a lil disappointed in only getting 3 shrimp in each of our shrimp entrees. Otherwise a fine experience.

Cute area and restraunt! Service was ok- it wasn’t very busy but took a while to be greeted by our server. Bread & butter were amazing. The rest of the food was just ok. I wish our sever was more familiar with which items were GF. Espresso creme brûlée was also amazing. PSA if you’ve never been before, we struggled to find a parking spot, but apparently you are allowed to park at the bank on the corner!

One of the best hidden gems in Sarasota. I had the Caesar to start, followed by the chicken cordon bleu and finished off with an Oreo bread pudding. Everything was top notch. Great atmosphere and service too.

Beautiful place. A real find as far as I am concerned. Food and service were both exceptional. We can't wait to go back again. One of the most beautiful places in Sarasota. It has the feel of a much older building in new construction. Beautiful tables, furniture, art work, outdoor fireplace, wood floors, great bar. An undiscovered gem for us. We loved being there.
It was my first time eating by myself since my husband died. They made me feel very comfortable. Service food was great. Was fairly early in the evening, so the noise wasn't too much. I would definitely go there again and again and again.
We went to 481 Gourmet on Friday night as part of the Savor Sarasota promotion. I ordered from the promo menu - 481 meatballs appetizer, Shrimp Fra Diablo main course and Oreo cookies bread and butter pudding. My wife ordered the scallops and mushroom risotto off the regular menu. Everything was great. The total bill for the meal plus 4 glasses of wine, including tax and gratuities was around $150. Very good value overall, plus excellent, friendly and attentive service. We'd definitely go back to this restuarant.
We went for the Savor Sarasota promotion, and were disappointed by the quality of the food one of our party had meatballs that were "squishy"even though the management took them off the check, but did not apologize for the quality . We were stuck in a tight corner table that was uncomfortable. Although our server was adequate, he could have been more attentive. It was our first time at this restaurant We will not return
