Amazing service, awesome NYC bagels & dog friendly!
Lovely selection
Excellent beer selection and Melissa Lynn was an excellent host.
Great place. Casual and fun. Fabulous selection of beers.
The concept is great. However, offering some truly non alcoholic beverages is appreciated. The non-alcoholic drinks either had some type of THC or nearly 0% alcohol. I drank a sodawater but there were no juices available or grenadine or anything to help the experience. Understanding that sometimes work functions are necessary - drinking is not for everyone. The bartender was great though!
No food
Absolutely love this place. My wife first got me into 99 Bottles through one of their Sunday community walks — a couple miles with a great group, followed by waters, mimosas, and New York bagels back at the bar. The whole thing is super well-organized and just has a great vibe. Bart (one of the owners, I think) is the man — welcoming, thoughtful, and clearly cares about building a real community around this place. The food’s great, the menu’s creative, and the service is always on point. We’ve met some awesome like-minded people through their events and it’s become one of our favorite spots in Sarasota. Just a genuinely good place run by genuinely good people.
Even if you don't like beer, you need to treat yourself to 99 Bottles. Sarasota is very lucky to have the likes of this specialized creation. I like beer and no expert, but truly amazed at the twenty plus craft beers on tap from all over the country and points beyond. High alcohol potency provides bang for the buck . Congenial craft keepers Cody and Bart provide friendly insight and sample tastings of the various brews. Big thanks to owner Mark for planting the 99 bottles flag next to Whole Foods Downtown and keeping us in good cheer. Extra Credit-
I understand he imports authentic New York bagels for the weekend. They also provide private lockets and specials for their regular club members- Call them for details.
Always great service with a wonderful selection of beer and wine! The bartenders are very engaging, personable and knowledgeable. The owner Mark is very funny and does so much for the community. The place is very clean, open, inviting and comfortable. Plenty of parking across the street in the upper garage.
Cute. Nice get away from the crowd. Need to go back to explore the inventory

99 bottles is such a fun unique spot in downtown sarasota! Whether you're looking for a boozy brunch for the girls or a bagel for the morning after, you won't be disappointed!
so fun and friendly service!
Stopped in for bagels this am, I'm from the north east and was craving a great bagel. They did not disappoint!
The bagel was delicious and hit the spot!
The best part of my visit was the service, I was greeted with a warm welcome. The bagel options were quickly shared and explained. You could take them home partially cooked to eat at home. I opted for fully cooked as I was only thinking about the everything bagel I wanted to try ASAP.
They have sandwichs and I will totally try one next time. As well I will be back later to try the beer!
Friendly atmosphere, always rotating new drinks to try and in a really great location. Staff is always really friendly and service is pretty quick. Good seating outside and inside to eat or drink socially or even by yourself.
Great place. Went on Saturday. We had a smoked salmon bagel and some very good beer.
