Love the rum cake from here that they were selling at siesta key rum. We drove an hour to try this place out! Unfortunately they left a note on the door saying they closed 2 hrs early. Guess we will try again next year.
A Taste of Germany is amazing! We’ve been there a couple times and were really impressed with the quality of their food. Their liquor cakes are to die for! If you find yourself in the Sarasota/Siesta Key area, you have to stop at A Taste of Germany. You’ll be very glad you did!
I can only speak to the alcohol laced desserts, and if those are any indication of the quality of the rest of the food - well then count me in! The cakes were phenomenal & I can't wait to try the other items on the menu. Next time I'm in Siesta Key, I'll be stopping in for sure!
