Avoid this place if you expect decent service or any accountability
We had an absolutely terrible experience here. The food arrived before our drinks and shots which is already bad service but what made it worse was how defensive and dismissive the management was when we tried to bring it up. No apology, no attempt to make it right just attitude.
We ordered shots that came after our meal and drinks that didn’t show up until we were practically done eating. It completely ruined the flow of the night. The entire point was to enjoy drinks with our food not after we were finished.
It wasn’t just bad service it was the way the management handled it that left the worst taste in our mouths. They made zero effort to take accountability or even acknowledge that the service was subpar. Instead they got defensive and acted like we were the problem for expecting basic hospitality.
With so many great places around I’d recommend taking your time money and energy somewhere else. You deserve better.

Well I thought I would give the restaurant 3 tries before I posted this negative review! Right! Where do I start? General atmosphere is good! The nitty gritty! The quality of food is awful! Last dish i had there was there version of a Mexican ceaser salad with chicken! The leaves and dressing were bland! The chicken dried out and tasteless! I tried to originally order a chilli con carne which I was informed by my the server that was an American dish not Mexican?? Really!! I also tried to order a side of fries! They said that they had run out!! The service was awful! Had to track a server down to get Churros! Omg! They were dry and tasteless too!! On my previous visits I had a chicken enchilada horrible and previous to that chicken fajitas! Not good at all! So on the strength of the poor quality meals and the bad service! This is why I rate you so badly! You need to step it up guys considering your in a prime waterside location!

Really cool spot. My girl and I went last week and the food was good! Music and energy was great and something Lakewood ranch is missing. The staff was really attentive, even the manager, AJ, who introduced himself to us was helping clear our plates and working with his staff to make for a better experience. You can tell there is good culture and they all care.
We had lunch on Sunday, November 10th and it was amazing. The margaritas were unique and tasted good, one even came smoked. I highly recommend the appetizer corn. All the food was delicious.

We will return. The table-side guacamole prepared by Rhoda was delicious. Our waiter, "E", made great recommendations. And, the El Jefe margarita is well worth going for.
